Good memory

President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

I was there sitting amongst Miami fans around the 50 yard line lower bowl. They had cleared out by the middle of the 4th quarter. Still have my ticket stub, souvenir cup and program. Probably the most enjoyable game I have attended especially later down on Bourbon Street which was all Orange.

I enjoyed it. One of the few games I have on tape and someone stole it.

I keep looking for it on DVD

I set my VCR before I left so I have that copy with all the commercials and halftime stuff.

My sweet Mom also recorded it on a new VCR we had bought her for Christmas. I had shown her how to hit pause (after counting 1000 and 1) to edit out all of the commercials. She did so for the entire game and halftime. I still have both copies around here somewhere.

I have an artist proof painting celebrating John Ward's career. I paid extra for the audio of Ward's call of Jeff Powell's 60 yard TD run which occurred in front of our seats. Such great memories.
