President Harry S. Truman said: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount.  The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings…  If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally wind up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the state.”

Tony Vitello speaking to the Knoxville Quarterback Club:
"Rick Barnes is the nicest human being I’ve ever met.
If you’re coming after that guy, you’re the problem."
Quote is in reference to embattled former Tennessee head football coach Jeremy Pruitt's implication of Rick Barnes breaking NCAA rules. (He hasn’t.)
As if anyone needed a reason to love Tony Vitello even more, he just gave us all another reason.
*Reported by Tim Owens, sports director for WATE6.
