i've taken it upon myself to make this award- and to give it to Coach Pruitt on behalf of the site. I will be carved on the cnc tomorrow.
i was reviewing the coaching accomplishments this season, and though i'm admittedly heavily biased, it's hard to look past the roller coaster of UT's season. It took a good staff to hold it together there, which is even more impressive to me than putting it together. ... and through it all we witnessed CJP become a VOL... not by title, but by blood. He stood behind players when others wouldn't. He held on to a particular player likely longer than he should have, but it demonstrates a loyalty to those players as people and not just catalysts in his career.
this site of OURS doesn't have commercial interests- it's fan driven alone. I'd love to see it grow to it's past (membership) glory. I hope to not only leverage this award not only because the guy (staff) deserves it, but because it may get us a little bit of visibility.
there is room for other awards. I will poll the busiest football board we have (big ten) and set up some additional ones.
