Not going to argue the calls because they were reviewed especially the fumble...holding yep we did and so did they but if you really want to know the details:

Ohio State 639 total yards..we held them to 44 yards rushing..and had them beat by almost 10 minutes in TOP...we also had 385 passing yards and 254 rushing yards. I wouldn't call it theft but I would call it dominating.
Not a Buckeye fan but they were the better team last night.  I assume Dabo will rank Ohio State higher than 11th in the final coaches poll.
Rule #1..never give the other team bulletin board material unless you can back it up.

But Lawrence, who grew up a Vol fan,was not good enough to play D1 football per someone I won't name. Lots of instate talent on that team that could of been in a different shade of Orange. Sad.

Go ahead I want to know.

Well you’d have to wonder which is worse ....... Butch was dumb enough to tell him to look elsewhere, Tater head would’ve recruited him but is too dumb to actually play him.

Alabama didn't ruin college football the NCAA did in several ways.  They allow the top teams especially Alabama to continue their cheating and buying players.

It's show me the money the TV audience and in person attendance wouldn't be as high if BYU were playing Cincinnati. So the fat cats have to stay fat or lose revenue.

They made rule changes to help the offense in order to run up the score. Again it's about the money fans like scoring not defensive struggles.

The biggest fiasco was changing the rule for blocking to allow the hands to be used. No one blacks anymore they all grab a hand full of jersey and hold on.

The change for a CFB should have been win your conference and you're in the playoffs no exceptions. If Notre Dame or other independents want in join a conference to play for the championship.

Notre Dame has been a complete bust every time the get voted in so again it's the money.

The FCS schools have a football playoff 24 teams I believe with the top 8 getting a by. It's worked really well and a real champion wins not some team picked by a committee.

If everyone is thinking alike then somebody isn't thinking.

herb and crew are so blatantly tOSU biased it's comical... the 'interception' just happened in the end zone... earlier THIS season i heard the same crew argue "all that matters is there was possession in the EZ, no matter how brief"...

it's a micro view of the way the media operates in this nation... i KNOW what i just saw, but i'm to accept what YOU saw and what 'officials' called.

and i call bull shit.
Herbie IS very tOSU biased for obvious reasons, he graduated there and "played" there, that said, listen to a "Bama game when Gary Danielson is calling the game, it would make Herbie's bias seem non-existent.

BTW, they had Big 12 refs calling the game so I would think any bias there would be minimal at best if any.

The first run TD by tOSU was because of a blatant hold which was clear in the replay..... and they showed that angle ONCE... the booth didn't say a word...

The Lawrence fumble was downed by Lawrence by pinning the ball to the deck for a full second of not two before ot was pounced on...

The interception late was a Clemson TD.  He had full possession and was in act of bringing it in when it was literally punched out.  Now on the field of play that was a fumble not an interception... in the EZ? Thats a TD.

Now tOSU was clearly and decisively the better team and won accordingly and to the point that Bama better not mail it in (pun, in this political climate, intended)... and Dabo was shown for the loudmouth idiot he can be and has been since he grew in his britches and head swell... but.. the zebras were far from legit last night no matter.  That is all.

Sometimes I wonder if it's hatred or just plain stupidity that causes you guys to keep posting stuff that's outright inaccurate.....or lies.
Trevor Lawrence signed with Clemson in the early signing date of 2017.....before Pruitt was even UT's coach.
FYI....Alabama recruited Lawrence hard and offered him early...while Pruitt was a coordinator.

OSU was clearly the better team last night. Clem seemed unprepared, particularly on D.

From an officiating perspective it was a bit like watching Bama play with SEC officials; help where you can.

Herbie is a tool and I really don't like OSU, but I hope they beat Bama. I think we see a close game.

Alabama didn't ruin college football the NCAA did in several ways.
Neither ruined college football.  The media ruined it, lead by ESPN.

There's WAAAAAAY too much emphasis on winning, and nearly everyone's bought into it.  If that wrankles you, then you're one of those who's gotten your manhood wrapped up in winning/championships, etc.  That's just the way ESPN wanted it - boost ratings for those championship games.

College football brought far more widespread enjoyment back when they crowned a mythical national champion.  Now you've got a country full of miserable, angry and disappointed fans, and in our case, and in our case a bunch of delusionally entitled yahoos living in the past.  "We should be elite, and you've got 3 years (and one quarterback) to get us knocking on the door or I'm calling for your head."

What?  You just enjoyed seeing your team go 8-4?  Are you a man?  You wouldn't want Steven A Smith to call you a sissy would you?

Fans of college football need to grow up.  Support your team.  Hope for the best.  You're not a loser just because your team doesn't win.  Don't listen to ESPN - championships aren't everything.
