Rumor that Milroe has an injury and might not go against the Ags?  If that's true I don't see Alabama winning.  Those other two schlubs they rolled out at QB were horribad and almost lost to a G5 team.

Alabama won't be throwing the ball much in either case, so that part doesn't change.  The other guys are at least capable of handing the ball off, which I think is the plan either way.  The O-line seems to have improved markedly from the first three games (this is not to insinuate that Bama could now beat Texas), in terms of technique, cohesion, and meanness, all of which was lacking at the start of the season.  They look pretty devastating when running the ball, so they might be able to grind out an ugly game.

The problem is that Milroe is a big threat to run, and I don't know that the other guys are.  So if they lost that, their run game loses a dimension and the Aggie front 7's job becomes simpler.  And the Aggies seem to have quite a front 7.  They're probably the best equipped to deal with Bama's improved OL out of the remaining opponents.

Definitely gets harder for the Gumps, especially on the road, if Milroe can't go or isn't 100%.

If I had more confidence in the Aggie O-line I'd probably have gone with them in the first place.  I don't see Aggie scoring much in this game, but it's possible 20 may do it.  Bama has proven they're capable of a dumpster-fire offensive performance on the road.  This is probably going to be an ugly game, but one I think either team is going to celebrate if they win, since they probably go on to win the west.

LSU 31  Mizzou 20  This could be worth watching.

Alabama 27  A&M 24  This would be worth watching.

Florida 37  Vandy 17

UGA 24  UK 17  This might be a tough one.

Ole Miss 41  Arky  21

If you like dumpster fires, sure.

I'll happily be watching the RRS with the wife, who I've ceded all TV rights too for this season, in hopes that our teams keep playing at the same time and therefore I don't have to watch us.

I had hopes for Arky 3-4 years age becoming a decently competitive program, but they seem mired in 7-5 or 6-6.

Kentucky starts each year hot and then starts to lose, but they obviously can have pretty solid years, followed by 7-5.

Rumor about Milroe appears to be untrue, or at least it didn't come from a reliable source.  Guess we'll see.

Yup haven't heard anything more about it, chalk it up to the fabulous internet game of telephone.

Reality Check day for my Ags.  This is where the road forks yet again.  Exit Right is a potential Glorious Season, only give out to A&M once every ten or so years by the Evil Capricious Football Gods.

The left exit is another 8-4 or 7-5 type of season.

Oh wait, I just realized that we already had our good season in 2020.  Never mind.  8-4 here we come.

Were Milroe out or hampered in some way, I'd expect the line to have shifted.

Hello 8-4.

Question is, whose our other two losses to?  LSU, Ole Miss, or *shudders* Miss State?

100%, missed the scores by some.

I didn't pick scores, but the games roughly followed the descriptions I ventured.  Except for Alabama.  I thought they'd have a hard time running on A&M, I didn't expect them not to be able to run at all, and I didn't expect Milroe to suddenly look like a Heisman contender.

That version of Bama beats the current version of UGA, methinks.  We'll probably get to find out.

I think I said UGA/UK would be over by the 3rd quarter at the latest, so I'm still claiming that as correct on my part.

If an LSU fan tells you they didn't start crying and then throw up a little bit when they got down 22-7 to Mizzou, they are lying through their trailer park teeth.

Watching Ole Miss and Arkansas struggle on offense against each other last night only highlights LSU's defensive derpitude.  That's a word I just made up, but uncharted circumstances call for uncharted language.

I like the play UGA and Alabama run where they tackle the guy with the ball and he doesn't score.  What's that called?

There is another brand new tactic where a defender somehow stays near a wide receiver and can actually deflect the pass, or even catch it.
