I caught the first half of the UGA/Tech game and some of the 3rd. The final score was puzzling. It felt like UGA was in control the whole time, but the scoreboard didn't get the separation that game play seemed to indicate. Final score was much closer than I expected.
Both UGA and Bama kind of farted around with inferior teams and, while they both won, I hope they play a lot better in the SEC CG.
Florida almost pulled it off. Not getting those extra bowl practices hurts. Napier probably needs to have a pretty good season next year.
Didn't get to watch the Mizzou/Ark game, but my wife tells me there was a lot of fighting. Mizzou might be chippy this year, there was a lot of near-fighting in the LSU game. The entire first half of our game with them, it seemed a major team-wide brawl was inevitable, although it never quite broke out and kind of settled down a little bit in the second half.
Got to keep half an eye on the Egg Bowl. Seemed fun, State was in it more than I thought they would be.
Auburn has never Auburn'd harder. All you had to do was stop a 4th and goal from the 31......how hard is that? TV showed a lot of their fans crying and I'm not even gonna make fun of them for that. That one has to sting, and probably will for a long time.
I'd say that Alabama better hope they way up their game for UGA, but then UGA looked regressed from the previous two weeks as well. If the UGA from the Ole Miss/Tennessee games shows back up, nobody is beating that team.
