When it rains it pours. Apparently A&M has several players out with the flu. I know my wife had it earlier this week and it put her out of commission for several days.

I expect Florida to win this one handily. Like 35-10. Just too much wrong with this team all season.
Sweet!!!

Wow. LSU over Bama.

Does this make LSU 1st in the West?  As I recall they have 2 losses, one ooc, and one to an East team.

The way to beat bama is the same recipe as it has been- hang with them no matter how battered you are... the way to beat tennessee is, apparently, dont let them breath a simgle clean breath.

Yup. They're undefeated in divisional play.

LSU has wins over their two competitors.  They play @ Arky and @ A&M now and would need to lose both to miss the CG UNLESS Ole Miss also beats Bama.  Ole Miss has Bama, @ Arky, and Miss State.  If they both win out, LSU goes.  If Bama beats OM, LSU could be no worse than 5-3 in conference.  Alabama could sneak back into this in theory.  And might.  LSU seems like a team that could have a hangover.

LSU  5-1
Ole Miss 4-1
Bama 4-2 in conference

LSU has wins over both, and the loss is to Tenn from the East.

UGA plays @ Miss State and @ UK which by no means are guaranteed wins on the road, they could do a Missouri.  But one win next week locks it for them.

UK at Mizzou - I can see a hangover loss here, Mizzou isn't awful, UK isn't great, I'm going with the homers, 20-16, UK's season sort of evaporates.

UF at A&M - Wow, two programs headed in a bad direction, though the gators at least are trying to build, I'll go with A&M close, 30-27.

Tenn @ UGA - UGA an 8.5 point favorite, but the Vols seem able to score in bunchesm this probably hinges on TO margin, I'm leaning to the Vols on the road, 38-34.

Liberty @ Arky - When you schedule a pastry, find one that isn't ranked.  Liberty 27  Arky 24

Bama at LSU - Key game of course, I think Bama has the horses if they don't have dumb plays, 34-24.

Auburn @ Miss State - Weird game, I'm going with Auburn for some reason 27-23.

USCe @ Vandy - Vandy is just bad, USCe is so so, USCe wins 34-17.
UK edged Mizzou, missed that one.  UF edged A&M missed that one.  UGA beat Tenn, missed that one.  Do I detect a trend?

I finally got Liberty over Arky close.  Missed Bama of course, missed Auburn, got USCe at least, wow, really poor picks.:smiley_confused1:

Hey check it out....the team Orgeron drove off a cliff is in the driver's seat for the west!

All we gotta do is beat A&M and Arkansas, or if Ole Miss loses again, just beat one of them, and we win!

....and then...

...we'd be in Atlanta...

...to play......Georgia.....

gawddammit, Alabama.  Even when we win, we lose.

Got my wires crossed in the top 10 matchups.

I thought UT @ UGA would be a good game and Bama @ LSU would be a laugher.

My nose sniffed correctly, I just got my colors mixed up.

Tennessee ran into a buzzsaw down in Athens.  There wasn't a team in the country that was going to beat the Dawgs on that day.

LSu could give the Dawgs problems I think, if the Dawgs can get there.

UGA might play two games in a row in the MB Dome and 3 all year.

Saturday was LSU's highest achievable output, and it squeaked them by a team with some major problems.  You could even consider the game "stolen" given that they went for 2, which is a good call when you're the less talented/deep team.  The longer you draw it out the higher the chance that the superior team is going to win.  Flip a coin via a single play, and at least there's a 50/50 shot you rob them.  Brian Kelly would probably never say it, but I suspect he knows that was the case, and I agreed with the call....still would even had it failed.  Bama is a better team.  Roll the dice and see if you can steal it.

Let's say Saturday was also UGA's highest achievable output.  I mean, I hope it was, because the rest of the country doesn't stand a chance if not and it's a pretty dull rest of the season.

Put those two teams at their highest output on a neutral field together and Georgia wins by 3+ TDs.

Bryce Young had the worst, dumbest game of his life, and I wouldn't count on Stetson Bennett following suit.  I wouldn't even count on Young doing it again in a hypothetical alternate reality.  Syllogism may be a poor metric, but it's not nothing that UGA just hammered the team that hammered LSU.

The Dawgs played down to Mizzou, I thought it was a loss until the 4th.  It can happen, probably less likely in a CG of course on familiar ground.

I went to the SEC GC a few years back with the crowd split about 50-50 Bama-UGA and it was very loud, the dome thing, with 40,000 fans cheering gets loud.  Oregon found this out and the crowd was likely 80-20 or more.
