I can't claim to have specific recollection of this like I do my college football playoffs prediction, which were dead on. 😉 I had what one might call a mild concussion and some things are lost to time. That said, I "hated" Spurrier and under Synder, stoops was a thorn in Texas side. I do recall him pulling good Texas talent at Florida and a&m was a D minded school, much like I'm a D minded fan. So, I can absolutely see my logic track in suggesting such. I will give full props to Elko, much to my suprise, he's so far done a great job. In particular, his alignment of offense to the talent he has, specifically Reed, to make them very productive is annoyingly impressive. I would have never predicted that Texas would have the exact opposite problem under Sarkisian.

The accident was literally deadly, was DOA from the head injury and in a comma. 11 years ago in January. Appreciate the sentiment.

You know, when you bring up JCG/Hooky the Stoops to Aggie actually seems really familiar.  I would have thought Stoops a good hire for A&M and as such probably would have pooped on it. JCG on the other hand would have suggested it in earnest and I could absolutely see the two of us "arguing" about it.

I too am confused by technology and I understand its easy to confuse the 2 Longhorn posters who's handles are share zero similarities but it was I who was badgered to return. Not sure if you misquoted or mistook me for utee94. I'll help clarify. utee94 is the John Stamos looking internet nice guy with horrible college football takes. I, BurntEyes am/is the fat Keifer Sutherlandish looking formerly drunken asshole with amazingly accurate and astute college football takes. I am also known for my humble nature and open mindedness. Should be easy enough.

Psh.  Dude is crankier than I am if you disagree with him on the right things, and has pretty good takes.  You must have gotten the Upside-Down utee94.   

According to FB photos, he's turning into John Stamos the Grey, meaning I need to get that dude to the Louisiana Longhorn STAT and see if the boudin can't turn around some of the gray hair in both of us.  Probably not how that works, but I'm willing to try.
