Dr Brown?  My Chem 107 Prof circa 1996/1997.

No.

He's dead now, but I just looked him up and I had it wrong.  He wasn't a chemistry teacher, he was in the chemical engineering dept.  Also says he was a senior lecturer, not a professor.  I wouldn't have known the difference back then.  Everybody who taught classes at a university would've all been the same thing to me.

One day me and my son were watching Big Bang Theory and I was explaining how some or maybe all of my professors would have fit right into that show. So I decided to look up my physics professor, not really sure what I could find out about a professor from 20+ years ago but figured hey what the heck. Turns out, the guy is still at A&M, still teaching. He was probably in his 50’s when I was in school, or maybe late 40’s. Anyways, his bio is all University of Chicago, Harvard, etc. My son was impressed I wasn’t BSing him.

Anyways, I looked him up, still there.

And just for fun I looked him up….sure enough, Princeton guy. Listed as Professor Emeritus.

Now I’m wondering, if I broke out my transcript, how many professors I had are still there. I know of one or two that died.  I probably wouldn’t even remember most of them.  One of my favorite profs was so old he was in the Korean War. I graduated in 2000, first year was 1996, so there may be a few more hanging around.
