Yeah and Texags was so pissed that they forced the administration to abandon the hire while Stoops was on the plane en route to College Station.

That would be kind of funny if true, but it sounds like internet hogwarsh to me.

Yeah it's nice to see the Texas women having a strong basketball program again.  Growing up, they were one of the biggest games in town.  Lots more folks attended womens' games than mens' games.

They were not nearly as big a deal whrn I attended.  Glad to see the huge increase in their popularity in all sports.

Yeah they were a big deal in the early/mid 80s.  That undefeated 1986 34-0 national championship team really packed the house.  It wasn't until Tom Penders arrived in the late 80s and brought a fun, run'n'gun style of basketball to Texas, that the men's team finally began drawing fan support.

Waymos having plenty of problems in Austin.  Here's one from a couple of days ago that stopped for a train.  INSIDE the stop arm.



Here's one from last week that got stuck sideways in the middle of a road downtown and delayed an ambulance that was headed to the scene of the terrorist shooter who shot up a bar and killed three people and injured 14 more.

If I go for a stroll, I'll see 4-5-6-7 Waymos driving around.  They seem "OK", I stood in front of one a bit when its light turned green, it had no passenger.  I was ready to jump.  I understand they have passed stopped school buses a few times.

I have not yet ridden in one.
