What do you guys think of Harsin at Auburn and Heupel at Tennessee? I think they are identical and totally unprepared for what lies ahead. Both took over successful programs built by other coaches and then proceeded to diminish their adopted teams. Harsin has hired a good staff and maybe Kevin Steele can hold things together at Tennessee.

Auburn should never have fired Malzahn and when they did Tennessee should have hired him.

I'm amazed that neither seemed to even peek at Tom Herman.  Why not try a guy who can apply what he learned at a major program?

Alabama just hired 2 assistant coaches (O'Brien and Marrone) that are better hires than what auburn, tennessee, South Carolina, and Vandy  got as head coaches.
