Possible Upsets this weekend that would shake the tree

Ole Miss @ Florida - The Gators have shown a lot of heart IMHO lately, and seem dangerous.  I think Ole Miss is the better team at this point, but on the road, in the Swamp ....  I suspect OM survives something like 20-17.

UK at UT - Probably going to be ugly, UT wins 37-13.

A&M at Auburn - Games get testy on the Plains for visitors, I think an upset is possible here, Auburn 24  A&M  20.  Probably not, but maybe so.  A&M only a 2.5 point favorite.

Vandy at LSU - Normally this would be a laugher, but LSU might be off its rails.  LSU is a 9 point favorite, I think they win and don't cover, 27-21.

I think Ole Miss will roll the Gators, even in the Swamp.  They're playing really well now, with some serious talent, and Florida still is mediocre on a good day.

I think Ole Miss, Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU all win pretty handily.  Some might feel iffy through the middle, but no real danger of losing into the 4th.

At their best, several SEC teams are NC winners. UGA, Bama, Texas, A&M, Ole Miss all have the pieces to win it all. Every single one of them, though, has fatal flaws that can just derail a game. Not just in a "on any given Saturday" way. In a "why do they keep doing that?" way.

Even the Gatas finally landed on their correct QB/RB combination. They're not the same easy out they were before.

I was sorta right.

I’m truly embarrassed for the Aggies. Auburn was not that great, we somehow spotted then a 3 TD lead, pulled ahead, and then let them back in with under 2:00 left. Then let them win in OT.

We’re truly not a very good team, Auburn was atrocious and we lost to them.

Next week, we’ll be lucky if we stay within 17 to Texas.

That was an epic day of CFB, I stayed up to watch Auburn edge the Ags.  Incredible, I spotted some upset possibilities, but thought the favorites would pull most of them out, I didn't even mention Bama-OU.  UGA backs into the CG and I half think they will lose to Tech.

Texas was demolished by Georgia, its only game against a team with seven or more wins this year.
Ole Miss beat Georgia, but has lost to Kentucky and Florida.
Alabama beat Georgia, but has lost to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.
Tennessee beat Alabama, but lost to Arkansas.
A&M beat Missouri and LSU, both ranked in the top 10 at the time, but lost to Auburn.
South Carolina's key wins -- A&M and Missouri -- don't look so impressive anymore, while the teams the Gamecocks lost to (LSU, Bama and Ole Miss) all have ugly losses themselves now.

This is not true.  I'm not gonna hang my hat on a win over Colorado State, but to keep it factual, Texas beat the Rams 52-0 in the season opener, and the Rams are currently 7-4.

Anyway, congrats to the Sooners.  Wow.  Now that's an upset that I don't think anyone would have predicted.

I didn't even mention the possibility, much less a blow out.  And I was looking at potential upsets obviously.

It cost me some sleep.
