Whichever year he broke out over the first six games--2021, I think?--and lead the conference in receiving yards, I don't remember any of that from him. Anyway, he got hurt and missed the rest of the year. I expected a huge year from him in 2022, but you're right, it seemed obvious he was having problems either with himself or his situation. The vibe between him and his teammates felt off and his interactions with Kelly and Kelly's statements about Boutte in pressers were clearly coach-speak obfuscations for a bad situation.
After a disappointing '22, instead of coming back and trying to improve his draft stock, he bolted for the NFL, many thought unwisely. This latest is perhaps the finale of his ignominious slide downwards.
I guess if I were forced to find something positive in his action, at least he bet on himself "winning," and wasn't throwing games. But, that's a small shiny trinket in a pile of turds.
