Y'all know this means Georgia and Hope are making out like teenagers.

From Seth Emerson at the Athletic

https://theathletic.com/3045884/2022/01/02/at-second-glance-vindication-domination-and-how-georgia-got-back-to-being-georgia-in-the-orange-bowl/

Michigan was indeed built more like Arkansas and Kentucky, two pretty good teams that Georgia dispensed with quickly. So does it translate to beating Alabama? Maybe if Georgia takes the same attitude over the next 10 days, and it should: The loss to Alabama in December, and the pain of the previous years, is still there. Never mind what the betting line is, if you give truth serum to Georgia fans, and probably most people around the program, the prevailing take will be: “Yeah, we gotta see it to believe it. And even then we’d need to wake up the next morning to make sure it really happened.”
Ultimately, for Georgia, this Orange Bowl performance was more important to confirm it was not an overrated team that was a product of its schedule. The Bulldogs are one of the two best teams in the country. No more arguments can be made otherwise. But can they beat the other one? Sure they can, and they had that team down 10-0 before wilting: Mike Tyson’s old adage about everyone having a plan until they get punched in the mouth applied.
Now Georgia remembers that and should have a plan. There’s no guarantee it will finally be able to pull it off. The only guarantee is it will have a shot, yet again.
