Game Week ... i don't know, 8? 9?

arky @ bama - sans tua, this one might be close... for a qtr. mac jones comes out slinging it, bama shows it still has a decent backup qb and a run game. wins easy on a sloppy wet field.

msu @ aTm - aTm takes care of business while msu continues to push tenn and vandy for 2nd worst in sec.

usc @ tenn - tenn stuns usc, with help of refs again. muschamp strangles the line judge and is carted off to arkham, awaiting his turn as the joker.

mizz @ uk - mizz wins another tight one, and quietly is still a challenger in east.

au @ lsu - tigers win. har har har. i'll take the bengal variety in this one, as burrows and his compatriots continue on their path of destruction to the showdown with bama in a couple weeks.

Think I'll take Auburn for the upset.  Can't tell if it's that they have better lines or just that LSU getting to 8-0 has only happened once in my lifetime. 

Somebody is going to ruin the bama/lsu game that people have been prematurely pointing to, just like Wisconsin/Ohio State, and Arkansas doesn't have what it takes but the Other Tigers do.  AU breaks the streak and ushers in a new era at Death Valley.  MDT crawls into a hole and takes up drinking, both medicinally and recreationally.

The Vols really are "not that bad" now.  UT 24  USCe 20.  Muschamp froths at mouth.

Bama 47  Arky 6  Bama could start me at QB and win.

MSU @ A&M - Aggies 34  MSU 13

Misery at UK - Misery is up and down.  They are up today, 27-14.

Auburn @ LSU - LSU close, 28-26.

Not just basing it on this game, but Bo Nix is not a good QB.  With a replacement-level backup who isn't a turnover machine, Auburn would be a better team.  I get that he's young and he'll improve and all that, but ick....when he immediately gives up on a play and chucks it down into the ground, it would drive me crazy as a coach.

He's a bad passer.  He plays QB.  That is the central problem.  AU doesn't have anyone on the roster who passes better than Nix?

41-21 is pretty far off, I didn't expect that much offense.
48-7 is off by a point on each side, not really much of an achievement.
49-30, again, a lot more offense than I expected.
7-29, total miss.
23-20, missed the score again.  
Not much about which to brag here.

You obviously didn't watch the game.  Blatant face mask pulled right in front of the refs.  No Bama fan should even mention refs with the calls they got in the Tenn game.  The SEC League Office in Birmingham had to cringe at those biased calls.

Who here are you addressing?  I didn't see where a Bama fan here mentioned officiating.  I often miss things.

probably means my quip about the usc/tenn game, "with the help of the refs once again", but that was meant more as usc getting screwed by refs vs uf than anything to do with tenn.

i'd also like to point out that was said before the tenn/usc game.

also, alabama is the 2nd most penalized team in sec, and their opp are the 3rd least in sec. i'm not saying the refs are screwing alabama, but i will say they certainly aren't favoring bama.

Ah yes, now I "get it", though your quip obviously has nothing to do with the Bama-Tenn game that I can see, nor even anything to do with Bama, and you infer that the bad ref call was in the Vols' favor, so a bit bizarre, to me.
