v Miami**
v UT-Martin
@ Kentucky
v Tennessee
v Towson
v Auburn
@ LSU
@ USCe
v Georgia*
v Vandy
@ Mizzou
v FSU
-
* at Jacksonville
** at Orlando

With Miami in a coaching change, that should be a win.
Should get back on the horse at UK...start a new streak.
Tennessee shouldn't be able to beat us.
That gets us to Auburn 5-0 and possibly untested.
Auburn and LSU will test our green OL's quality.  May look past the Gamecocks, pre-UGA.  I'd guess 1-2 for those 3 games.
While we lost OL, UGA lost skill-position guys, but not enough to pick Florida to win.  But it'll be a good matchup.
Should win the last 3, although we play like crap vs Mizzou every year.

So maybe 9-3, something like that.  Lose 3 out of 4 midseason, but win the state title.

Florida is getting a LOT of preseason love by the Internet wizards (who can't be wrong?).

It's certainly enough to worry a Dawg fan, even aside from the past three decades of mostly misery.

Some big unknowns in the East I think:

Tennessee - Year two coaches often have a good year, but do they have enough talent and experience?
Missouri and Kentucky - lost some key pieces but could be dangerous still
South Carolina - meh, seems unchanged to me, UGA gets them at home.
Vandy - meh, it is game one.

The Dawgs aren't a whole head above Florida.  But they're not even, either.  Through 3 quarters last year, I saw 2 even teams.  But the -3 in turnovers was the deciding factor.

The thing with 2019 Florida is that in the mid-90s, we could overcome a big OL hit.  But as Mullen brings the Gators back up, we're not there yet.  If we happened to return all this skill position talent AND 3 or 4 OL, then Florida should be the favorite in the East.  But that's not the case.  Maybe we can be there in a couple of years, but not yet.

I think Tennessee's talent is down.  It may just be a 2-year blip under the new administration...might not be.  For the Georgia and Florida-types with better talent, just play it safe and wear them down.  Get the boring W.

I think Kentucky peaked last year.  Their workhorse RB is gone.  Their All-American LB is gone.  While their roster is better than when they sucked, they don't have the top-end talent anymore, either.

Well, Florida was 10-3 last year and had some very good wins, so I wouldn't claim UGA was way ahead of them anyway.

For 2019, I think the main difference between the two is the offensive lines, QB, and running back.

The Gator defense might be better.

Missouri might well be a wild card in this.  If they are at least decent, they could be 8-0 going into the UGA game, and perhaps be somewhat like Kentucky was last season, though not exactly playing the Dawgs for the SEC East title (they face Florida the following week).

Anyone seeing an over under in this?

UGA and Alabama are the only two SEC programs projected to win double-digit games in the regular season.

LSU and Florida are next at nine projected wins followed by Auburn and Missouri at eight. Texas A&M is projected for 7.5 wins along with Mississippi State. Tennessee and Kentucky are each at 6.5 wins with Arkansas and South Carolina coming in at 5.5. Vanderbilt is projected at five and Ole Miss at 4.5.
