Three is hard to come up with.

My favorite, non-microbrew is Dos Equis Amber.

XX Amber is pretty good.  You also might like Negra Modelo.

My favorite Mexican beers are Bohemia (a really tasty, true Czech-style pilsner) and Pacifo Clara (one of the best 100-degree-poolside beers ever made).

Guinness Stout in a pint glass

Guinness Draught poured from a bottle into an official tulip-shaped Guinness glass

and Blue Moon Horchata

Yeah yeah I know Blue Moon is fake microbrew hand puppet made by Coors who have a long history of abusing migrant workers and contributing their money to weirdo causes

but it's good beer

Some of the beers within different beer styles are too similar to distinguish so I'll just go with beer styles:

1. Scotch Ales (eg. Founder's Dirty Bastard & Backwoods Bastard)
2. Dunkels (mostly made by German breweries)
3. Doppelbocks (eg. Ayinger Celebrator, Troeg's Troegenator)
HM. Porters, Black Ales / Lagers, Oktoberfests

As a bonus, here's some suggestions for good beer bars / brewpubs / taprooms in Philadelphia (where I lived for 5 years until last year) and Chicago (where I live now):

Philadelphia - Monk's, Eulogy, Khyber Pass, Good Dog, The Institute, Standard Tap, South Philly Tap Room, Pub on Passyunk East, Devil's Den, Frankford Hall, Misconduct, Yard's
Chicago - Monk's (not related), Sheffield's, Kaiser Tiger, Hopleaf*, Map Room*, Fountainhead*, Beermiscuous, Revolution, Half Acre, Baderbrau, Maria's*, Howells & Hood*, Bangers & Lace*

*Haven't been yet but have only heard positive reviews.

Thanks Michi, I'll defiitely keep my eyes open for those if/when I get out t Philly or Chicago.

And CH, Blue Moon is okay as far as the macro-fake-micros go.  Last summer they brought out a beer they called "Balgian Table Pilsner" and it was a VERY good beer.  And their standard Belgian wit offerings are decent, too.

Another interesting, yet potentially contentious thread title would be "what is the most disgusting beer to ever wash across your palate"... or something like that.

And my answer would undoubtedly be Schafer.  Dear God Almighty, I had an experience about 20 years ago so bad that I will never forget the taste of that skank swill.  Swill is a complement to this stuff.

I don't even know if it's still made any more, or if it's still as "low rent" as it used to be, but I puked up a lung, some other miscellaneous organs, and about $15 worth of Jack-in-the-Box while drinking that crap.  Worst drinking experience ever.

Absolute worst beer to ever grace the planet.  Lone Star is champagne up next to this canned horse piss.

I remember Pearl, not sure I've ever tried it.  And Falstaff - that must have sucked too.

I remember the days when Schlitz was a big seller around these parts.  My uncles drank it.  I never tasted the stuff, but I do remember my Dad migrating from Schlitz to Coors.

As a child, I don't remember any of my elders drinking Budweiser.  Maybe it wasn't huge in Texas back then.

I remember drinking something called Stegmeier, in PA.  It was a small company, I won't call it a microbrew because it was so bad.  It was $5 for a case, with $1.5 returned on the returnable bottles.  This was in 1989.

I enjoy any beer that you can't see through.

Except IPAs. They taste like broccoli.

I don't much like broccoli.

Amazingly, the 7-11 by my place apparently sells Bell's Hopslam now.

As for terrible beers (ignoring macrobrews, of course), white beers and various Belgian style beers I just can't appreciate. More for those who do, though....
