so until today, I'd just click on the quote button and in the box where I drafted my message, the quoted post would automatically appear.  Today, I'm unable to quote anything.

Did something change where my settings are not allowing quotes?   Odd that it started this morning..

apologies, Sir...

i've installed h2, accelerators, compression and deflate on the server in that last couple of days... the site should be MUCH faster and a ton more secure- the security the reason why i did it before the end of the season...

cliff notes: there is a script out there that some people (don't know who) are using to bust into forums that run this engine.  i read about it and then i witnessed it here- but shut them down using another script somebody offered- works really well... and it slowed this place to a snails pace, which is why i went ahead and jumped on the accelerators, compression/deflate, and http2- to mask the time it takes to run the script.  apparently, it disrupts certain features- and the quote is one of them.

I'll get on it and see what i can do, but while i'm fighting these guys (will take a day or so before a patch comes available) i can't promise anything... it was touch and go Friday and Saturday- but we made it.  they won't bust in at all now, but.... until the patch is available and i can remove the script that's protecting us, i just don't know what to do about some of the features not behaving.

no issues.. thanks for the explanation.   I had assumed I had something amiss with my computer and wasn't sure how to fix.
