Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Classic. Probably the only regular season game featuring two of the CFP teams. Look for both Bama and FSU to be there at the end of the season.

Tickets on StubHub range from $450 to $2000. Each!

that's nuts.

UGA/ND is also nuts...

you can buy national championship game tickets cheaper right now.

Kind've in the mood for Michigan @ Wisconsin Nov 18. Nothing like a major conference showdown at night late in the season.

I've been to a few of the opening week classics, to come away with mixed feelings. Their best aspect is the large crowds, and more importantly optimistic and enthused crowds yet to suffer disappointment. The downside is they can come across as over commercialized, impersonal spectacles, especially played in the Georgia down or new Texas stadium.

This season I'm doing the West Virginia vs Virginia Tech at Fed Ex field outside DC.

Highly doubtful that the M @ W game is going to be at night. They'd need an exemption from Jim Delany, and he would never subject his precious Wolvies to a Madison night game if he didn't have to. And then Harbaugh would have to agree to it, and why would he?

Only games at Maryland and (I think) Rutgers are allowed at night in November. Too cold elsewhere, apparently.

Night as in a late afternoon kickoff? When the sun will be down by halftime? I think both Wisconsin and Michigan are underrated this year, based on their Vegas under/overs; has gameday written all over it.

It most certainly will be the 2:30 kick that day, and yes, it should be dark (or close to it) by the half.

The only kicker is that UNL plays at PSU that day. Depending on where things stand, the networks might want to put that in the same slot.

Nebraska won't be as good as either UW or Mich, so I think the PSU game takes a back seat. The big CBS competitor that day (for gameday) might be LSU @ Tennessee, but I'm not even sure either will be better than 8 win teams this year.
