I was going to post it if you hadn't, RTF. I'm really glad to hear it.
Between OU-Bama in '32-33, OU-Clemson in '35-36, OU-LSU in '27-28, OU-Michigan in '25-26, OU-Tennessee in '20 and '24, OU-Nebraska in '21-22 and '29-30, and OU and Georgia supposedly working on something for '23 and some other year, we've got some great OOC games scheduled for more than the next decade and a half.
I know that OU fans who went to Tuscaloosa in 2003 came back talking about what a great time they had there.
EDIT: Here's OU's official announcement: http://www.soonersports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=31000&ATCLID=211799050 (http://www.soonersports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=31000&ATCLID=211799050).

that 02-03 series was great. hopefully the teams are more evenly matched. 32-33 is a long way out though.
bama is finally getting back into home and home series. we got texas 22-23, wvu in 26-27, nd in 28-29 and now ou in 32-33. got 2 2-year open spots in that time frame in 24-25 and 30-31. i'm just guessing, but unless we hear something really soon, i think we'll see a couple more neutrals in 24-25 and a home/home in 30-31.
bama future major ooc opp:
2019 - duke (n, atl) - blah
2020 - usc (n, jerryworld) - hopefully good, good names anyway
2021 - miami (n, atl) - hope they get back to good, otherwise, blah
2022 - @ texas - good one
2023 - texas - return
2024 - ??, could be h/h, but i'm guessing it's short notice for that. likely 2 neutrals
2025 - ?? - see above
2026 - @ wvu - another good one
2027 - wvu - return
2028 - @ nd - another good one, probably our once a decade trip north :)
2029 - nd - return
2030 - ?? - i think this will be a h/h
2031 - ?? - see above
2032 - @ ou - it continues
2033 - ou - return
anyone wanna take a stab at the competing coaches for the tide/sooners?
-
Sooner coach will be Drake Stoops.
Tide Coach will be Lincoln Riley.

could be worse
could be an older Mike Stoops

The UGA series may be 2023 and 2031, in Norman and then Athens. It looks like almost a done deal.
OU was the last major team UGA had never faced.
Nice to see some programs stepping up their scheduling always.

Oklahoma has always done a really nice job of OOC scheduling.

compliments for the Sooners, from Utee?

Oklahoma has always done a really nice job of OOC scheduling.
Back in the bad old Big 8 days, we had one of the best annual OOC series (neutral-site, it was) in all the land.
AND, more often than not, in we also scheduled OOC teams like USC, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Pitt, Miami, Cal, Oregon, et. al.
How 'bout this OOC schedule, from 1973?
@ Baylor
@ USC
vs. Miami
vs. Texas (Neutral Site)
Yep. The bad old days.

I'm delighted UGA is sort of joining the Bigs in terms of scheduling. Last year was bad. From here on it's getting to be pretty solid, especially if they add OU.
I've seen some Ohio State slates back in the 70s that were all conference games or big OOC opponents.
Maybe Texas will finally get pretty good by the time we play them.

Hmmmm
Be careful what you wish for

Well, if they get good, they might our team up from their torpor and disinterestness.

need to stay off that Georgia weed

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. It's a well trodden excuse line obviously, and can't be rebutted, even if it's stupid.
