You post your list of 14 schools.....because that's how it works. If your list only varies a little from someone else's, then list those differences in bold or something. You're smart, figure it out.
Alphabetically, for assistance:
Alabama 4-0....wins - FSU, Fresno, Colo.St., Vandy - all blowouts
Arkansas 1-2....win - FAMU blowout...losses - TCU blowout, A&M in OT
Auburn 3-1.....wins - GaSo & Mizz blowouts, close W vs Mercer.....loss - @ Clemson, close
Florida 2-1.....wins - Tenn & @UK, both close.....loss vs Michigan
Georgia 4-0.....wins - App St, @ ND, Samford, MSU...all blowouts except 1-pt vs Irish
Kentucky 3-1.....wins - So Miss, E.Kentucky, @ SCarolina all between 7-11 points.......loss - Florida by 1 pt
LSU 3-1......wins - BYU blowout, UT-Chatt blowout, Syracuse....loss - blowout @ Miss St
Miss State 3-1.......Char.So., @ La Tech, LSU - all blowouts.....loss - @ UGA blowout
Missouri 1-3......win Miz St blowout......losses - SCarolina, Purdue, Auburn, all blowouts
Ole Miss 2-1......wins - So.Ala., UT-Martin - blowouts......loss @ Cal
SCarolina 3-1......wins - NC.St. close, blowout @Miz, 1-pt over La Tech......loss - UK by 10
Tennessee 3-1.....wins - close vs GT, blowout vs Indiana St, close vs UMass....loss - close @ Florida
Texas A&M 3-1......wins - Nichols by 10, blowout vs ULL, OT over Arkansas.....loss - 1 pt @ UCLA
Vanderbilt 3-1.....wins - @ MTSU blowout, Ala.A&M blowout, Kansas St close......loss - obliterated by Alabama
Hope this helps.
*** close = 1 possession
***blowout = 3+ possessions
neither = 2 possession game (9-16 pts)

I think any of the 3-13 teams could beat any of the others on a given day, and even the 2 team.
I don't have a clue how to rank anyone at this point in the middle. I guess Auburn has been most impressive?
3. Auburn
4. Miss State
5. LSU
6. Florida
7. A&M
8. Tenn
9. UK
10. Arkansas
11. Vandy
12. Ole Miss
13. USCe

Yeah, 1,2, and 14 seem set to me. Going by resume, I think A&M is 3rd, actually. Auburn is up there, Vandy is, too.
Best wins so far:
Alabama over FSU (with their QB)
Georgia @ ND
Georgia vs Miss State
Vandy vs Kansas St
Miss State vs LSU
Best losses so far (assuming no blowout loss is 'good'):
Auburn @ Clemson
Florida vs Michigan
Tennessee @ Florida
Texas A&M @ UCLA
Arkansas vs Texas A&M
-
1 - Alabama Ivan Drago with a southern accent
2 - Georgia Hey, I thought they didn't have a QB
3 - Texas A&M Good enough to get up 44-10 @ UCLA
4 - Auburn Maybe Clemson just caused a hangover?
5 - Miss State From WOW in a good way to WOW in a bad way
6 - Florida Lady luck won't last forever
7 - LSU Total mystery
8 - Tennessee Champions of Life need a coach
9 - Kentucky Built their own glass ceiling
10 - Vanderbilt tugged on Superman's cape, he turned out to be Ivan Drago
11 - Ole Miss by default
12 - Arkansas Hey, at least coach's wife is hot, right?!?
13 - South Carolina Looked solid, but no longer
14 - Missouri Mizzou is the new Vandy
-
Worst wins:
Auburn vs Mercer, by 14
Tennessee vs UMass, by 4
SCarolina vs La Tech, by 1
Texas A&M vs Nichols St, by 10
Kentucky vs Eastern Ky, by 11

Frustrating that Florida should be 3-1 (cupcake game cancelled) and still have 9 players suspended.
If neither were true, Florida would be 3-1 with a good showing vs Michigan (still would've lost). Possibly more comfortable wins vs UT and UK, but I don't know.
Here in reality, the Gators are 2-1 and not very good.
But it's early - take a team like Arkansas. Quality-wise, they could be up above UK/UT, I don't know. They're good enough to take A&M to OT. But their only win is to a bad I-AA team, so resume-wise, they're lacking.
-
I see that Syracuse lost to MTSU, and was trailing LSU by 2 in the fourth.
I have to conclude that LSU has "significant issues" and is not very good.
-
Bama.UGA
sorry to say, the rest don't matter- there is an evenly distributed gradient from 3-14, but the primary color is still brown.
I'd guess:
Auburn-MSU..
UF-UK-LSU..aTm..
UT-Arky-vandy-USCe-OleMiss..
Mizzou
( '-' is even, '.' is grades of step-down's)
-
1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. Florida
4. Auburn
5. Kentucky
6. Mississippi State
7. LSU
8. Vandy
9. Texas A&M
10. South Carolina
11. Ole Miss
12. Tennessee
13. Arkansas
14. Missouri
-
Based on AP ranking:
1 - Alabama
2 - Georgia
3 - Auburn
4 - Florida
5 - Miss State
6 - LSU
7 - Tennessee (one 25th-place vote)
No UK, no A&M, no Vandy.....kind of amazed by that.
-
Fwiw,, the Ole Mis game was a one point game beging the 4th quarter thmo. at Ole Miss led at halftime. I don't think it was a blow out
-
Completely subjective, regardless of resume. Total eye of the beholder:
1) Alabama Changed the channel it was so boring
2) Georgia Things are taking shape between the hedges
3) Auburn Want to see more, but look like a tough out
4) Florida I still like the defense, offense may be becoming....functional?
5) Texas A&M One of two teams that could fluctuate wildly up and down this list
6) Clanga Can play good football, but not as talented as the rest
7) Kentucky Played UF close, had a chance
8) Arkansas Gave TAMU a good fight, may not belong this high though
9) Tennessee I hope that was a Florida hangover
10) Ole Miss Ton of big play ability, possibly belongs higher
11) LSU Could fluctuate, here for now. Ahead of the rest on sheer manpower
12) Vanderbilt Got a reality check. KSU feels like an outlier
13) S. Car. default
14) Missouri Doesn't do anything particularly well
This is really hard. There's two quality teams, a couple of junk ones, and then a massive, mediocre logjam.
-
My kingdom for some formatting.
-
right? It requires some heavy lifting with coding, and...... it's over my head for the time being... I'm slowly working on it, though.
-
I forgot to post ESPN's SEC Power Rankings (they're quite different from many of ours):
1 - Alabama
2 - Georgia
3 - Auburn
4 - Miss State
5 - LSU
6 - Vandy
7 - Texas A&M
8 - Florida
9 - Kentucky
10 - Tennessee
11 - Arkansas
12 - S.Carolina
13 - Ole Miss
14 - Missouri
-
They appear to agree with us on an obvious 1, 2, and 14.
In times past I've been critical of media polls, but I honestly have no problem with anyone's 3-13 right now. Pick one out of a bag and stick a number on it, I won't argue.
We've gone from a tough league with parity to a mediocre league with parity.
-
i'd say there a little separation in 3-13
usc and om are clearly nearer the bottom than top of that list. conversely, au and msu nearer the top.
i'd go
bama
.
uga
.

au
msu
uf
aTm
uk

lsu
vandy
