Decent matchup full of disrespect. Or maybe mediocrity.

The Utes will best the Mildcats, in one of Northwestern's uninspired out of conference performances.
-
My initial thoughts were along the lines of Brutus. NW should win this the way they finished the year... But NW seems disinterested in OOC games. I expect to see a lot of "happy to be here" attitude.

Utah is consistently one of the most focused and prepared teams for bowls and a few years ago NW couldn’t win a bowl. I just hope both teams put forth the best effort; might be in SD for New Year’s and if so I’ll make this the bowl game I attend.
-
I also hope both bring their A game. I'm a fan of what Utah has built and how they continue to build that program. I do think NW's A game is better, but I'm not optimistic CF fans will see it.

I'd be happy to be there

I did a holiday bowl/torrey pines doubleheader one year.
-
good call, I've played Torrey twice
never been to the Holiday

Said Hi to a half-dozen Northwestern players I saw sauntering through the Gaslamp District. And on my commute four bright red Ute team busses are parked at the Ramada off Harbor Dr since Wednesday.

Northwestern brought the gloomy Windy City weather with them to the Holday Bowl. Attending with brother and another buddy today, and they’ve been fully warned to prepare for a chilly Pacific evening of 45F, late-afternoon drizzle, and 20 mph wind off the ocean front.

congrats to the Cats

Pretty entertaining game.
Most successful senor class in Wildcat history.
Doing some pretty good stuff there just north of Chicago.
