I've added it to the pinned thread, but it's certainly a new day.
Only 1 game (Iowa-PSU) is on ABC/ESPN, but 3 are on FOX/FS1. There's also only one noon game.
-
Damn. That's a shit schedule.
-
I think the main incentive for ABC is that occasionly an unranked Iowa team pulls off an upset of a top 5 team in ABC late games in Iowa City, waiting till after the sun goes down to kick a last minute game-winning FG.
-
Damn. That's a shit schedule.
SEC is no better. Best CBS could come up with for their SEC Game of the Week was Bama-Vanderbilt.
Check out the conference-by-conference breakdown below. All times Eastern

Yeah, the next 2 weeks are very, very blah.

Looks like a good week to start prepping the boat for winter storage, I reckon.

No love for Coach Brohm's national coming out party ?

Against a horrible Missouri team that fired their DC two games in?

Huskers and Buckeyes are keeping their D coordinators for now????

Pretty sure Jhet is talking about the Sep 23 homecoming game against Michigan. Jhet is drinking the malty hopped carbonated koolaid too lol
Cheers Jhet! :singing:
I'm excited as the Purdue/Michigan game will be televised on Fox, so I should be able to pick it up with my antenna (instead of on BTN or some other streaming option I don't get).
Anyone know if Fox does regional coverage, or if this will be a national broadcast? Out here in SoCal we'd probably get a different game if they go regional.
-
I presumed he was replying to the 9/23 topic at top. I think both Mich at Purdue and PSU at Iowa are very intriguing.
-
Ah, yes, my mistake.
-
As far as I've seen, broadcast Fox is 100% national coverage, another win for Big Ten if that remains the case.
-
I don't think any channels have done regional splits for a few years other than BTN. At most you have the ABC/espn2 reverse mirror.
-
ESPN is as underwhelmed as we are as they send Gameday to NYC for no reason.
As I bumped, we speculated about whether they'd do an off the wall one that weekend. I had Vandy upsetting K-State this weekend to sneak into the Top 25, and host for their game against Bama. Probably the only shot Vandy's ever got, and if they do beat K-State, it's a shame they wouldn't go there.

September 30 now added to the pinned thread
Again 3 on FOX/FS1, only 1 on ABC/ESPN.
I don't think I fully recognized the extent of FOX coverage this year.
-
Never added the October 7 ones, so both are added.
Super stoked that MSU at Minnesota is a BTN night game. :c002:

I agree. My understanding was it was going to be similar to the Big XII schedule was they were basically split 35% each with BTN getting the leftovers.
Instead it seems more like the Pac 12 deal where they get like 14 total for the year.
Whatever the case I am loving the hell out of it. Purdue's first 6 games will all be non-noon kickoffs. That has never happened before. Hell we are just a few year removed under Hope where all flipping 7 home games were at noon. I know many of you hate Delaney for going too far on change. Other than the opening weekend conf game thing I love nearly all they have done with television and expansion of coverage.

I like that FOX is getting more games
I hate the crappy BTN night games.
I hate that it seems like ABC and FOX work independently, so they generally conflict. Why are UM-MSU and Wisconsin-Nebraska on at the same damn time? Put one at night, fine, I get that we aren't going back on that. But the other one should be at 3:30. There's no reason to have multiple night games. Minnesota-MSU? PSU-Georgia State? Play those games at noon. I think there should be 1 3:30 game, one night game and the rest at noon. Put quality at 3:30 and 8:00, then quantity at noon. That way you get big games in late afternoon and primetime, and so many games at noon, that by chance some should turn out to be good. As it is, they've basically turned the 12-3:30 window into complete and total garbage, and then piled so many good games on top of each other at night, you can't actually watch them.

As always, already added to the pinned thread
OSU-PSU was already selected for the afternoon FOX game.
MSU-Northwestern will be the afternoon ABC game
Rosedale and Purdue-Nebraska in primetime
-
As usual, added to the pinned thread
Michigan-Minnesota a night game in November for reasons nobody knows.
MSU-PSU and OSU-Iowa remain unannounced. Appears whoever wins the OSU-PSU game will be the 3:30 ABC game, and whoever loses will be the NOON ESPN game.
If MSU and OSU win this weekend, sets up a still really good top 15 battle between MSU and PSU in a noon slot. Biggest noon game of the year thus far?

Added to the pinned thread.
For the first time all year, NO NIGHT GAMES :13:
-
no night games
so apparently, BTN will be broadcasting basketball that night

Big Ten not having any primetime games November 18, but won't announce any kick times until after this weekend.
Means every game will be 12, 3:30 or 4, but we won't know until Sunday.
You've got Wisconsin-Michigan, and a whole lot of meh.
Not even sure what the second best game is. Purdue at Iowa? Nebraska at Penn State?
-
Purdue at Iowa could be interesting.
-
Final weekend kick times and TV announced with the exception of PSU-Maryland and UW-Minnesota which will be 3:30 or 3:45 on ABC, ESPN or BTN.
My guess is if Wisconsin is 11-0, they'll be 3:30 ABC, otherwise PSU will.
All added to the pinned thread. Can't believe that's the final weekend announcements already.

Been a helluva season.
