I know this one is straightforward (there's no "deciding," it's just the numbers and the top guy gets it)
but OSU is way underrepped on O. If this were to hold, that as much as anything would lead to me questioning PFF's worth. Also: based on record, you'd think that UW is overrepped but then look at those guys. Nope. That's dead on. Those 4 are out of this world.

Meanwhile, this may get me in trouble but in every game I watch of PSU, I consistently come away thinking "Why does everyone talk about Oruwariye like he's a big deal?"

Because it's fun to hear the announcers sound like Scooby Doo?

That's the same issue we talked about with MSU's under representation on our preseason list, that you have a stark cut off at such a high level, it ignores a lot of data. This list says Trace McSorley is the best QB, and beyond that Dwayne Haskins might as well be Art Sitkowski. If Wisconsin has these 4, but no others would rank in the top 8-9 at their position, while OSU is 2 or 3 across the board, that explains a lot, and I would love to see that.
As far as I can tell PFF College isn't even something you can pay for? Basically you are at the mercy of whatever data they want to Tweet out, but I'd love to see full positional lists.

What would the list look like if instead of the best player, it was the one at each position that most exceeded expectations?

The entire defense would be Minnesota and the offense would be 1/3-each Iowa, Purdue and Michigan.

Khari Willis might still be on there. He's a well spoken kid, and a great choice as captain, but a good portion of the fan base, me included was hoping an underclassman would rise up and wrestle that starting spot away from him. From hoping he wouldn't be a starter to 1st team all conference.

Also, note that WIllikes is actually rated better, but by putting Winovich first they put a helmet school at top, which generates more clicks by those quickly scanning through the Tweets, for those who don't buy into those sort of things.
