Title: Interactive Recruit Map
Post by: WhiskeyM on August 31, 2018, 08:45:57 PM
For those that like visuals, this interactive recruiting map details where teams have recruited from over the years, including concentrations, hot spots, names and rankings.  Select any team

That is pretty cool indeed, but I didn't find anything that shocked me, or surprised me.

Which public P5 has the largest radius in recruiting?

Tennessee was pretty broad.

Minnesota might be a winner here.

NW of course recruits all over but are private.  ND probably has the broadest reach.

The state of Georgia seems to attract a lot of attention.  UGA should be able to recruit fairly well one would think.

Colorado has a huge circle also, probably the largest, goes down well into Mexico...

Colorado is interesting.

No surprise in Georgia, but I'd be curious to know if there is any noticable recruiting shift between the Richt years and the future Smart years.

Purdue does a good job of balancing recruiting around home, and then in Texas, Georgia, Florida, and the East Coast.  I imagine most schools try to recruit heavily in those states.  It just seems like Purdue struck a fairly successful balance compared to other mid-tier P5s.
