Scott Frost doesn't even make the list

probably because he wore #5 at Stanford

How would Frost get a vote when UNL had another, Heisman-winning option QB just 4 years later?

1 - I get a complaint about leaving a player off a list
2 - I get a complaint about how a player on the list shouldn't be on the list
3 - I've gotten a request to add a player to a list that is already on the list

15 yard penalty to all B10ers for "giving me the business"!!!

sorry, wasn't really complaining.......

more, just commenting that with the quality of this list, a great #7 like Frost doesn't make the cut

I don't have a problem with it.

I like the list

I voted Vick.   He was a collegiate game changer.   This is a great group.

I've never suggested I was anywhere near perfect or even above average

I voted Vick.   He was a collegiate game changer.   This is a great group.
My eye is going to start twitching having these conversations.  He wasn’t really a game changer for the collegiate game. The NFL finally decided to start giving some of these black, dual threat, option style QB’s a chance.
It actually started a couple of years earlier when the Eagles took McNabb second overall.  Vick ran the option out of the I formation.  Your Corhuskers had been doing this for years.  Syracuse had been doing it a decade with guys like Don McPherson, Marvin Graves, and McNabb.  And, yes, one of the reasons the love for Vick as an innovator bugs me is WVU had done it with Major Harris.
Vick was the fastest player I had ever seen play the position.  I’ll give him that.  But I never viewed him as someone who changed the game.  What he was doing had been done for years and his production out of it wasn’t really any better than what others had done.  The NFL’s change in mindset on these guys had already begun with the McNabb selection.

Well the democratic process allows for voters' misconceptions, so....yeah.  Vick is all eye-test.  He was the fastest QB ever.  He also had one of the strongest arms ever.  But his stats aren't special, when compared to all-time greats.  You mentioned Marvin Graves, who I'm afraid will be lost to time, having worn 5 before McNabb did, and Major Harris.  But hell, VT had their own 'first' QB of Vick's ilk in Maurice DeShazo.

I'm only going to be crabby about #7 voting if a certain someone doesn't end up voting for John Elway, lol.

And Scott Frost certainly wouldn't have begged for votes...oh wait, nevermind

I don't think he would beg for himself, I guess we will find out if he stays at UNL long enough

he would beg for a great man other than himself, obviously

that would not be Eric Crouch

Because why not:

Ok, now I'm done...maybe.

Which century is that?  lol
Actually, in looking at the offense, uh oh, they have Munoz.  Look at the first-teamers on offense....all very successful in the NFL.  Zero differentiation between college and pro.

Our exercise is not that.

I know (success in the pros--although Reggie Bush doesn't necessarily fit that mold), but I couldn't resist.

The century was the Pac-8/10/12's first century--not the most obvious.
