Man, this is a good mental exercise. I realized how little I know about MSU, Illinois, NW, Purdue, Iowa elite historical players (and Indiana for that matter, even though they rarely sniff Heisman territory).

1961 Ohio St RB - I'm going to recommend everyone watch The Express, the Ernie Davis Story. It's a great flick. And then we will all remember it was Bob Fergerson (sp?) who was 2nd to Davis in '61.

Bo Jackson was one of my favorite non-husker RB's growing up. Enjoyed watching him the few times he was on TV.

I enjoyed watching him run over the Boz in the NFL

I'm glad they did a 30 for 30 on Bo. He is not a guy who should be lost to time, but because of his abbreviated, split career, none of his numbers will endure.
Each generation of kids should know he existed and that he was a special athlete. Deion speed & Earl Campbell power, plus a cannon for an arm. The toolsiest human maybe ever.
