This is a attempt for me to maybe learn which QBs before my time were left-handed, so I'll ask:
Who were the best left-handed QBs in college football history? - edit: Name any and all lefty QBs you recall.
.
Here are some obvious ones that I know of:
Tim Tebow
Josh Heupel
Ken Stabler
Steve Young
Chris Simms?
Tua Tagovailoa
.
Who were some others?
-
Dave Humm, probably the best lefty at Nebraska
-
Wasn't Matt Leinart a lefty?
Only remember that from a past joint NCAA/Madden dynasty, where I drafted him, and hated having a lefty QB
-
Michael Vick
Steve Young
-
Yeah, Leinart and Vick were.
-
Any ambidextrous QBs that could throw with either arm?
-
Pat White
-
Boomer Esiason.
The first lefty QB I remember as a kid was Jim Zorn with the Seahawks. No idea where he went to college.
-
Steve Bellisari. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
-
Pat White
Need video proof that he ever needed to throw the ball

Forgot about Steve Young, best lefty IMO,versitile, smart and could run like the wind.Maybe the snake was 2nd
-
Brunell?
-
Scott Mitchell
-
Scott Mitchell
He threw with his left, but I suspect he was a righty
-
THIS ALEX HORNIBROOK ERASURE WILL NOT STAND.
-
David Greene, UGA
-
Pat White could have probably thrown to himself.
.
Speaking of ambidextrous, all option QBs have to pitch with either hand.
-
My brother in the '70s started his JR/SR seasons in H.S. as a left handed catcher. Before he went off college he traded his mitt - expensive and broken in to another lefty. The other guy swapped out 5 lbs of pistachios which were expensive at the time.I know it's not about a QB but somewhere to fit in the lefty story. BTW you've heard only left handers are in their right mind - BULLSHIT
-
Back in the 90s WVU recruited Jerry Porter as a QB. Nehlen ended up moving him to WR and he actually became a pretty decent NFL receiver. But anyway, when he first got there there started to be stories of his insane athleticism. One of those stories was Porter could throw the ball 50 yards from his knee with either hand.

I swear I was thinking about him earlier but couldn’t remember if he was a lefty or not. Full disclosure. I have no memory of Josh Heupel being left handed.

I bet you don't remember he threw 20 TDs and 15 INTs that NC year...
