I sent this to my neighbors -- big Clemson fans -- as part of the "pre-bowl fun".
I've been marveling over Joe's pure uncanny physical gifts for two seasons.
I told them "there's a reason he's been a backup. Accuracy."

He played well this year expect in in 20mph winds and rain.

You and I must have watched different games I saw on many of his attempts at throwing deep he stiill overthrows receivers.
I wish him well but he's like the gorilla playing golf he putts just like he drives.

He will overthrow some but he'll be fine.
A better defense and we are in better shape. Our running backs should be better with depth this year
We could have won 12 games with better linebackers and DBs

if no one transfers QB room will be very talented and deep again next year.

If Nico is forced to start as a true freshmen in the SEC..we're in trouble. Even Peyton struggled as a freshmen when forced into the line-up

Watched the rerun of the UT/Pitt game yesterday. Even Hooker had several passes overstrown, and the commentators were commenting on the same thing happening in 2021.

This year, he looked much more composed when he was on the field.
If he makes good decisions, he'll be fine.
Yes, he sometimes overthrows receivers - but so does Hooker.
Eric Ainge said that people forget how many times Hooker has overthrown or thrown too high because he makes good decisions and doesn't throw interceptions.
He if keeps his composure when the rush is on, Milton will do just fine.

You're right the defense was weak. We need a new secondary coach the defensive backs and safeties couldn't cover the field with a tarp. They allow mediocre quarterbacks to look like Heisman candidates.
We had one dose of Wille Martinez with Butch Jones and saw he wasn't up to the task then. If he was a good coach he wouldn't have to move on tp another team every two or three years.
He's wore out more suit cases than a traveling salesman.

He was ok in the Bowl game. Better than average but not what he's capable of.
