- OHIO STATE (2) - Day has gone from NFL short lists to the warm seat in about 365 days
- PENN STATE (3) - another strong season, but no division title
- ILLINOIS (5) - way to handle a potential letdown, after losing control of the division
- PURDUE (6) - nice to get some new blood in the title game, even though that blood is going to get spilled
- MARYLAND (7) - way to prove it was the gauntlet and not "November Maryland"
- MINNESOTA (8) - strong finish, to retain the Axe, but have to be angry the didn't win the division
- IOWA (4) - talk about your all time gags
- WISCONSIN (9) - begs the question if anything would have been enough for Jim Leonhard to get the job

Opt outs, coaching changes, etc... I don't think you can rate a team that is completely different than the one they rolled out of season
