Waking up in Auburn AL and readying a quick campus tailgate. We’ll have to wrap up earlier than usual in order to be in the stadium for Auburn’s 11am kickoff Vs Arkansas.
I’m expecting a high scoring game. Arkansas has the SEC’s strongest ground attack while Auburn’s rush D is last in the conference. Arkansas biggest issues are on the defense. Lot of Auburn fans expecting Harsin to be fired tomorrow should Auburn lose today and drop to 3-5.

We got lamb chops at Costco Thursday, will grill tonight. A new restaurant is opening near us and has a $40 per head all you can drink opening day fiesta, I'm not sure we'll go. The guy said he'd have the WLOCP on TV there. Weather is excellent here. The guy is waiting on city inspectors to open "normally" and says he'll have oysters on the weekend. It's on the ground floor of this skinny new apt building with about 5 units in it. The 1940s houses that remain are pretty much all slated for demo at some point around here.

The "Wagyu" hambuger meat from Costco is quite good BTW. I'm a huge Costco fan. Reg gas was $3.

After the flu shot, I'll be going to a .......hockey game, one of my nieces 12u team. I'll be interested in seeing the difference between a high level 12u girls hockey game in central IN, compared to what I've seen further north. there will be some exceptional pasta tonight at a local haunt.

Penalty on OSU for hitting the snapper or something like that.
Then they fumbled at the goal line and recovered it, but it was ruled down/short before the fumble.
All resulting in a TD.

Michigan’s pass offense is literally horrible. As is their goal line / red zone offense.
How you don’t attempt goal line fades or back shoulder throws into the end zone ever is beyond me. Instead they run routes all short of the end zone and their guys catch the ball and get tackled short. Makes sense. Lol.
HOW ABOUT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE RECEIVERS RUN ROUTES INTO THE FREAKING END ZONE IN GOAL LINE SITUATIONS JEEM.

It’s been a weirdly officiated game all around. Bad calls on both sides. Also some terrible love calls that were overturned both ways as well

I really don’t get Jeem or that play calling. WTF they running trick plays for and taking their first deep shot all game with JJ and keeping the starters in up 22 late in the 4th? Put in the back ups, run the ball and just end the damn game.
The passing game, red zone offense, and play calling continues to be atrocious and it just continues to not matter as Michigan continues to just physically man handled and steam roll its opponents at the line of scrimmage. Their OL and front 7 on defense are better than they were last year, which is kinda nuts considering they won the Joe Moorehead award last year and had two 1st rd edge rushers in their front 7…
Some quick thoughts…
1) Moody is a fkn insanely good kicker.
2) Braiden McGregor, Mike Morris, and Mazi Smith straight up physically look like NFL players. Impressive looking dudes on the hoof. All three of those guys are fkn monsters.
3) Blake Corum is really good.
4) Mike Sainistril is their best CB and Will Johnson looks like a freaking NFL CB and he’s an 18 year old true freshman. I can totally see why he was an OMG 5 STARZ corner prospect.

Oklahoma State: The Cowboys have been plagued with injuries over the past few weeks, but nothing could have prepared them for what happened on Saturday in a 48-0 loss. No. 22 Kansas State handed No. 9 Oklahoma State one of the most historically embarrassing losses ever for an AP top-10 team, and the loss marked the first time a top-10 squad has been shut out by 40 or more points since 1968. It was OSU's first shutout loss of any type since 2009 and the worst loss in a shutout since 2000, the year before Les Miles arrived. Needless to say, the Cowboys have to do some soul-searching and figure out how to finish the season stronger.

Hope you're feeling better SM,I don't care who got away with it but even the reporters noted it in the replay/post game.The game wasn't in question so no harm.But the one db literally had his shirt/arm then leaves go as the other db then shoves him right as the ball arrives - with the side judge right there. Those calls/non calls can't stand - this is the stuff that should be reviewable and are game changers.

Felt bad for Spartan Fans,watching the Blue/Green go at it last nite so many,so many bad calls by either Mel or the OC Johnson.Watching the game with a buddy we both said go for the FGs before the half,the one was shorter than an xrta point,for peate sake.With an over matched offense you have to score when opportunity knocks.I realize the kicker isn't real reliable but you come away with points at least once anyway.But lining up 5yds behind the los when there is less than 5 to go for a TD then have a slow developing play up the gut is just school yard stoopid
The defense did not play bad but got tired and Thorne was like 6-8,7-9 early but then he got erratic. MSU got a T.O. then immediately get a delay of game - that's coaching,they had the opportunity and bungled it.Coaches not thinking.Some of the stuff early simply dashed hopes - repeatedly.Michigan plays like that vs Illinois or tOSU it will cost them

Not me, I love it. Halloween decorations are big in our neighborhood. My neighbor does a Nightmare Before Christmas theme, with a 12-ft Jack Skellington he built himself, and a few years back I started doing a Beetlejuice theme. We're trying to get our 3rd neighbor to do Edward Scissorhands to continue the Tim Burton theme.
