"Every day is still a battle. Neurosurgeon told me 6-8 weeks at minimum before I begin to feel somewhat normal and it sounds like I’ll still battle fatigue for a while after that. Today is 3 weeks exactly so I have a ways to go. Every day brings headaches. They also had to cut through muscle that controls my jaw to get through a tumor on each side of the head so it’s been tough to chew food as well. The final unexpected surprise was they blew a vein in my left arm where they had an IV with a direct line to my heart. My entire arm is black and blew and I can barely grip anything and pain in that arm is waking me up every night. Needless to say, the seriousness of this is far beyond anything I thought I’d face at this age."

Doing ok. Every day is still a battle but week over week there’s noticeable improvement. I’m finally sleeping through the nights. The jaw muscle pain is still there and headaches are bad enough where I still have to take Tylenol every day, but I’m taking about every 8 hours now instead of 6.
my wife and I tested having friends over for about 90 minutes last night. That was brutal. Interactions and talking to people is not easy, so that’s how tough this is. That being said, one of the friends is a surgeon and she thinks the healing for how serious the surgery was is very good so far. Still also some pretty crazy scabs at the incision sites. Overall, I’m seeing enough improvement to be hopeful. That being said, there’s part of me that’s nervous I will fully return to full health. I was an active guy that worked out 5 days a week and right now I’m a physical shell that lost all muscle and 30 lbs.
appreciate you guys checking in.

Very sorry to hear (read) you are suffering, but you're gonna make it back. It's great that you started off very healthy too. That's gonna help.
