UGA legacy. His Dad was the back that caught the pass for a TD at ut that Larry Munson described as "hitting them in the face with a hob-nailed boot". Play was P44 Haynes.

UGA had him penciled in, this was a surprise. Yet another Buford guy poisoned by the Buford HC. Buford is a powerhouse and they send guys everywhere except UGA and they are less than an hour from Athens.

This piqued my curiosity to see how accurate this way. I looked for the last 3 years at 247's top 50 Ga players to see who signed there. Alabama signed 6 guys from Buford and there was one each from Ohio State, LSU, Texas and Texas A&M. Not a single guy signed at UGA. Kirby sends to sign somebody some flowers or something.

How would a HS HC poison a major CFN program just up the road like that? Why? I can imagine why, but players who go to UGA tend to do well in the NFL, which to me is the biggest thing for elite level HS players.

Going back 3 more years, there was one each from LSU, Auburn, Wake Forest and NC State. Still no Dawgs.

Florida has moved up to 12th in the 2023 recruiting rankings. Might flip an OSU CB commit. Greet momentum!
