Minnie.

Went with Braelon Allen here, but there are a lot of good choices. Nobody overwhelming, but a lot of strong candidates who could be poised for huge seasons.
-
lot of nice backs this year. Guy who might be the most talented of them all- Donovan Edwards didn’t even make the cut.
-
I'm curious to see how Ibrahim comes out this season.
Also very curious to see Allen as a sophomore. At least he is 18 now, and the clear starter going in.
-
Mmm, that’s a damn good group

Agreed

Allen
-
well, at least I and 4 others voted for the right guy
-
Agreed
To clarify, Edwards is a cheat code. LeVeon Bell was a very good college running back. He became (at his peak) an elite NFL RB, because he was a great RB, and also a great pass catcher. He wasn't that at MSU. Donovan Edwards isn't just already that in college. He was already that as a freshman. I get the vision and pass blocking are things that you needs reps to pick up on. But as purely a weapon to get the ball in his hands, he might be the best I've seen in the Big Ten since Ted Ginn
-
Yes- some excellent choices here and some great ones about to emerge that aren’t listed.
Went with the beast from the Goohers-I think he has proven a lot already
-
Looks like a 3-horse race and we may need a tiebreaker.
-
tie breaker should go to the senior
-
2022 Mo Ibrahim
5.4 yards/carry
163 yards / game
actually 3/4ths a game
2 TD's
sounds like a decent 3 quarters then throw in that it was against tOSU
Mo's career
5.5 yd/c
103.6 yds/game
33 TD's
-
I just had some concerns about how good he will be after returning from injury. RB is a position where if you lose half a step, you may not be productive anymore.

He kicked OSU’s ass. And that was even though they knew he was coming. Love that kid.

yeah i think we all do but he looked good enough that 2 freshmen RB's that also looked very good last year transferred out figuring that their playing time would take a huge hit, meaning that Mo looks good to go

Tiebreaker is needed

Tiebreaker is needed
I voted for Allen, so I'm not even any help
-
you could help by going with the proven senior for the tie
-
I thought Allen was the easy choice here. He was 2nd in the Big Ten in conference games with 107.9 ypg, and the #1 (Walker), #3 (Haskins), and #4 (Goodson) are all gone. He also led qualified backs with 7.2 ypc, a full yard better than #2 (Walker)

If you take my vote and make it a homer vote (but still a good vote, as I do think Allen is going to crush it this year), you still have a tie. But since your vote is two votes, Allen it is.
:)
