QB #1
-
OSU

I'm really glad that we are starting this now! One of my favorite preseason activities on the board.
-
To cue the cliche, thin group this year
-
#2 QB is a little more interesting. We have a few options there.

I actually somewhat disagree. Stroud is the only star, but I think we go pretty deep with proven guys

Hopefully UW #5 can join this list next year. I'm thinking that it is very likely.

I agree but maybe even sooner. It’s almost like a golf swing and once you get your confidence back look out. As far as talent that kid is loaded with it.

Despite what MDOT must think- I think McNamara belongs on that list
All he does is win.
-
easiest choice in the entire conference is QB #1 and WR #1. Stroud by a lot. JSN by a lot.

MEH.
Michigan clawed it's way into a B1G 'Chip and playoff spot with great front 7 on defense and a workhorse running game lead by Haskins. All the TEAM did last year was win (except for MSU). And they won in spite of McNamara sometimes. All he did was manage things- just not f**k it up by making costly mistakes. McNamara is a solid starting B1G QB, but not much more. It's not like I hate him or dislike him. He's just very limited both athletically, physically, and he either doesn't seem to process things fast/quick enough or just won't take any chances because he doesn't have the arm to fit balls into tight spaces.

And of course Kirk Ferentz as coach of the year.

only if he finds a QB

PC, if he somehow can beat OSU.

You know, that's fair. I felt like it was an unimpressive group of names, and then looking at the stats, felt like
there was a lot of Nate Sudfeld energy (better numbers on middling teams).
Looking closer, it feels like a bit of a centerpiece distortion.
O'Connell feels overshadowed by system
Thorne had a game manager vibe
Tagovailoa had the so-so team thing (Sudfeld-itis)
And Clifford, well I actually think he's pretty middling
But I wasn't giving the other three enough credit. I little more volume over efficiency than in the past, and I'm still calibrating.

Always good to get this out of the way 1st
