Title: 2022 schedule, week-by-week, weeks 9-12
Post by: medinabuckeye1 on June 14, 2022, 01:15:29 PM
I did weeks 0-4 here (https://www.cfb51.com/big-ten/2022-schedule-week-by-week-weeks-0-4/msg441993/#msg441993) and weeks 5-8 here (https://www.cfb51.com/big-ten/2022-schedule-week-by-week-weeks-5-8/new/#new).

Week 9, Saturday, October 29:

Another five-game league slate.  The MSU/M and tOSU/PSU games will likely be practically elimination games for at least some of the participants.  Depending on how things fall in the earlier games the division could be practically decided with those two games.  After this, the only remaining games among those four teams will be PSU/MSU and THE GAME both on Thanksgiving weekend.

Week 10, Saturday, November 5:

This is only the second full slate of league games of 2022 and the first since October 1.  I'd view M, MSU, tOSU, and PSU as all being on "upset alert" coming off of their showdowns the week before.  Ohio State and Michigan appear to have a little leeway here with probably weaker opponents but MSU or PSU could be in trouble if they aren't ready to go.  This is an odd week in that none of these seem like major headline type games but most of them seem at least somewhat interesting.

Week 11, Saturday, November 12:

The third of the season and second in a row full slate of league games.

Week 12, Saturday, November 19:

The fourth-of-the-season and third consecutive full slate of league games.  None of these jump out at me as a major headliner at this point but I feel like by the time we get here one of the first two will be.
