dump your browsers cache and cookies, and give it another whirl.
the site is officially out of development now, and in full production. some switches were thrown locking everything down last night, and it looks like the only side effect is that cookies stored on your computers are no longer valid, and need to be replaced with ones that are.
other than a tweak from time to time, the site is finished. it'll take a couple hours to a couple days to refresh the cache, but... it's g2g now and for the foreseeable future.

For about a week or so, I have been unable to log in from my laptop unless I am in "incognito" mode.
When I try, I receive one of the following error messages.
Your session timed out while posting. Please go back and try again.
Sorry, but you've reached your login attempts threshold. Please wait 30 seconds and try again later.

Chrome is tricky... instead of using 'flat files' for website cache's (storing often viewed pages so they load faster) Chrome uses a database entry, and that database isn't stored on your local machine- it's stored in google's cloud... the 'entries' for that database's tables ARE stored on your local computer... all in the name of speed (loading speed)...
i've went around my elbow to arrive at my bedonkeedonk several times now trying to put some speed to this joint...
but i am willing to wager your issue is with chrome's cache and the browser files....
what to do (and it may be a good idea to do this anyway, as several pages you visit may have changed since the last capture) :
first, hold your ctrl button click refresh... that should clear some things for you (and if you haven't done this in a while, stand by because the site has changed some in the last month)... this ^ should do it, but may not... in this case:
click your three dots top right corner of browser- select (hover) "more tools", then 'clear browsing data', and select the parts and pieces you want to clear.... you're going to want to focus on "browsing history".
if that doesn't do it, let me know.... like i said, chrome/google is tricky and sometimes you gotta play 'not nice' with them to clear data they are tracking you with.
I injected some code some time back to remedy the 'sessions time out' thing, and i fear it's still alive in cache's on user's computers (or googles cloud)- which would/will cause the issue you're seeing.

It didn't work.
The first problem I encountered is that my keyboard doesn't have a "refresh" button.
Google says ctrl + F12 should do the same thing. But it didn't seem to do much of anything.
I had already cleared the browsing history, but tried it again and still nothing.

it's actually cntrl and f5, or use the mouse to hit the refresh button on the browser....
meanwhile, i'll dig back into this and see what can be done on my end... if i find something i'll let you know.

The browser doesn't have a refresh button, and ctrl+F5 resulted in the same error message.

what browser are you using?

i went through everything tonight... found a few issues that took me a while to fix, and i addressed the login form once again.... i hope this does it for you!

i FOUND it!!!!!!!!!!!!
it was right under my nose all this time, hiding plainly in plain sight... was watching tonight as another member was having issues, and watched it trigger- somewhere i was going to NOT look thinking "it ain't there", but did anyway... and the SoB may as well have been highlighted, flashing or blinking... i have no clue how i've never seen it before. it should be fixed now for sure!!!!

Yeah, it is still not working.
Oh well. At least it works in incognito mode.
Good enough, I suppose. Sorry about the hassle.
