I see Florida is favored by 2 over FSU, both are 5-6.

At this point, I'd lean to FSU.

A&M vs LSU is hard to figure out. LSU has lost a lot of games they were in it very late. They’ve shown flashes of being good. A&M has lost a few close games as well, beaten #1 Alabama, been inept on offense at times and great at others.

Ed O’s last game. Game is in BR. If we win this game we have a shot at a ten win season and possibly a final top ten ranking. Meaningless as it may seem to you A&M has not done this during my time. We’ve finished top ten, but not in consecutive seasons.

Some fans count close losses as wins by perfectly good teams with a perfectly good former coach.

Can you clarify that?  No idea what you're saying.

OAM claimed Florida was a perfectly good team with a perfectly good coach because many of their Ls were close Ls.

He said they'd be 9-2 if they had won their close games, which is perhaps true.

Since we're playing that game, look at UT with hooker at the helm compared to overthrow Joe the flat footed mile slinger...

Losses to Pitt, UF, and Ole Miss are, arguably,  his fault.  UT is 6-5 and should beat vandy making them 7-5... could it have been 10-2? ..... methinks it could have been.  Losses to UGA and Bama.

I thought mizzou was better and UK was a toss up at beginning of season and later proved to be a concern- but UT pulled it off... with a depleted roster.

My biggest concern right now is Huepal being poached.

Is that true?^ .. sure it is.. its just as right as it is wrong.  But as offered before- if it ain't all truth then it's a lie.

I'm mighty proud of those fellas.  The portal ought to be full with players from LSU and UF, perhaps a few others.. UT could compete next season.  That'll be a turn of events, huh?

I think the Vols showed considerable progress especially given their player losses to the Portal.  It may take a few years to rebuild the talent level though, but they should be dangerous next season, and better, I think.  And yes a few breaks and they could have been 9-3 anyway, I don't know if they won some they could have lost, Uk I suppose.  Folks forget about those.

I'm thinking the Ole Miss game was an eye opener for Heupels M.O... the speed of execution being hamstrung by flops.

Hell, he had players flopping too- but I'm pretty sure it was him effin' back with Lame Kitten....

The response to that flop fest was about as ugly a display to be seen this season with fans acting as they did.

....... but the point I'm making is THAT was the difference in that game.  UT caught them with bad components on the field at least a dozen times, and every time LK signaled "flop"... boom.. advantage lost.

Further point to be made- that type of O is dangerous to both teams, but it was all UT had.  Talent and depth would allow a lot more solid an approach rather than the gimmick.  They should have won that game.  Well, they could have won that game.

With hooker playing, they'd have mopped over Pitt...

You're getting a lot of miles out of that phrase.  Don't quit your day job.

Florida's issue is the defense.  If an effective DC was hired in the offseason, Florida would be a good team paired with Mullen's offense.  Sure, that's assuming the defensive failings have been scheme and not talent.
No one ever mentions losing our MLB at the beginning of our 2nd game.  You know, the leader of the defense who makes the calls.  Maybe he was a big deal.

Anyway, none of it matters, because Florida fell off a cliff and Mullen is gone.

Of course, no other team lost any of their leading players, only Florida did.

That perfectly good offense rung up 13 against UK, 7 against UGA, 17 against USCe, and 16 against Mizzou aside from OT.

Of course they also put 70 on Samford, so there is that.

Something broke along the way after the moral victory over Alabama.  They are favored over 5-6 FSU.  2.5.

FSU started 0-4 and is 5-2 since, with the two being somewhat close losses.  ND only beat them by 3 back when.  Weird team.

Whoever they hire needs to recruit, probably top 5 in most years.

I'll take FSU over Florida 34-24.

UGA 41  Tech 10

Bama 31  Auburn 17

UK 27  Laville 17

Clemson 37  USCe 20

A&M 38  LSU 13

I would have picked Ole Miss and Arky but was too late.

Like I said. Can’t figure out either A&M or LSU. LSU can literally beat or lose to anyone on their schedule. Our defense IMO has not played great. Decent. Let that LSU qb slip away a few times and had some long plays.

Offense struggling again. No run game. Shocker.

Tiger stadium looks surprisingly empty. They haven’t showed the seat shots much but they do not appear packed. Weird for the last game.

Well damn. Defense really let me down. Thought we had it there at the end. LSU played great. I’m seriously impressed and completely disappointed in Calzada all at the same time.

But defense lost this one. 10 wins out the window. 9wins and a great bowl game in sight. On to 2022.

Felt like that was a win-win situation.  I'm glad they got the win, and sent O and 19 seniors out with a win, and I guess will accept a bowl bid.  On the other hand, had Aggie won, I was looking forward to them putting us out of our misery.  As it stands, I'll be watching one more game of this slow-motion train wreck that makes me need a new class of blood pressure meds.  Srsly...I hope none of you are subjecting yourself to watching this junk.  We used to be entertaining even if we lost.  Now it's just painfully awkward even if we win.

Maybe that's what happens when you have top 10 talent and a coach that can't figure out which buttons to push.

The Iron Bowl was quite interesting this year.  It's always a fun game for me because whoever loses, I'm happy.

I thought as soon as the AU back ran out of bounds that was it.  I was certain Alabama was going to come back and tie it up, and I also figured OT favored Alabama for several reasons.  It played out exactly like I thought it would.  Gritty comeback for Alabama, no doubt, but to me it more or less wasn't in question.  Alabama has been really good in two minute drills, and they preserved a time out with that dumb play.

It was bad on the back's part to run out of bounds--you NEVER want to trade the yards for stopping the clock in that situation unless you know for sure you're getting the first down.  And he had plenty of time to see he may very well not make it.  Get down, punt.  Make them either burn the last TO or run 40 seconds off the clock.  Either one would've done Alabama in.  But the real goat there is Bobo who I guess called that play.  I wouldn't ever call a wide run like that one that even puts your player in a position to go out of bounds.  Run him up the middle and don't worry about the first down.  Alabama was likely cooked if anything BUT that run out of bounds happened.

AU played a hard fought game against the Tide, but for that part at the end they absolutely deserved to lose imo.

He came to within a yard of making the first down which would have won it and he really didn't run out of bounds. He got thrown out. Auburn then kicked the ball down to the three yard line. Alabama had a third and ten from the three. What a thrilling end of a disaster.
