Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa, Penn State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Purdue already have at least six wins so all will be eligible.
Indiana and Nebraska already have at least seven losses so they will be ineligible.
That leaves:
- 2-4/5-4 Maryland: Needs one more win from among @MSU, vsM, @RU. Should make it but could come down to the final weekend.
- 1-5/4-5 Rutgers: Needs two more wins from among @IU, @PSU, vsUMD. They could make it but they almost have to beat IU this weekend.
- 3-4/4-6 Illinois: Needs to win out (@IA, vsNU). They actually could do this.
- 1-5/3-6 Northwestern: Needs to win out (@UW, vsPU, @IL). They will probably be eliminated this weekend.

As I said in the MSU/Purdue game thread, this is the first time Purdue has been bowl eligible before the Bucket game since 2007.

Rutgers and Northwestern outlasted Nebraska?
Oof...

Update for 11/13 games:
Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan, Iowa, Penn State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Purdue already have at least six wins so all will be eligible.
Indiana, Nebraska and Northwestern already have at least seven losses so they will be ineligible.
The only change above is that Northwestern is now eliminated.
That leaves:
- 2-5/5-5 Maryland: Needs one more win from among vsM, @RU. Could make it but will probably come down to the final weekend.
- 2-5/5-5 Rutgers: Needs one more win from among @PSU, vsUMD. Could make it but will probably come down to the final weekend.
- 3-4/4-6 Illinois: Needs to win out (@IA, vsNU). They actually could do this.

I have read that there is a chance there may not enough bowl eligible teams to fill all the bowls this year.
In that case they start looking at 5-7 teams with the highest APR, and I hear Illinois is 2nd on the APR list. So it might be possible for Illinois to finish 5-7 and sneak in an invitation to the Quick Line Bowl in Detroit.
Also it looks like the winner of the Rutgers/MD game will be bowl eligible, so the Big Ten is certain to get at least 1 more bowl team.
