A member of the Florida House of Representatives has asked Bob Bowlsby to consider it.

Who wants to see a Charlie Strong/Tom Herman matchup?

The XII would need clearance from ESecPN to add these schools, so, in other words, it's not gonna happen.
-
Lord, no.
Texas has a new AD and I'm hoping he's thinking a lot bigger than this kind of thing.
-
Directional schools? Id also vote no.
I don’t care how well they’ve done recently, it’s not a good path for a P5 conference.

There's already 65 schools in P5. That's one too many.
Kick out Wake Forest and reshuffle the rest into a P4.
This is an NFL farm league. Why don't we just grow up and act like it. "Higher education" is cashing checks on the backs of young men that intellectually function on a 6th grade level. The whole thing is a farce in the first place.
So cut the pretense and form a structured league.

might want to wait and see how Heupel does before extending an offer

make more sense to steal Virginia Tech and Virginia from the ACC and force the ACC to suck up the Bulls and Black Knights
heck if yer gonna raid the AAC, take Houston, SMU or Memphis

I swear when I first read this, I thought it said:
"and force the ACC to suck balls"
Adding the Va schools would be quite a coup. Unlikely, but fun to think about.

well, grabbing the virginny schools isn't impossible and certainly would cause the ACC and the AAC to suck balls!

Nothing wrong with Wake Forest.
Baylor, now . . . .

I suspect that Heupel will struggle. I don't think he has the right personality to run a program.
I'll be glad if I'm proven wrong.
