...and we're off!
For those of you new to the contest, this is probably the most anticipated and frequently commonly mistaken prognostication game on this forum.
The rules are simple:
-There are many measurables that are measured in a football game. I am going to ask you to predict one of them.
-The guesses will be tallied, and sorted by how close the guesses are to the actual measurement.
-With the guesses in order, points will be assigned to each player based on the placing their guess was. i.e. if a guess was 5th, they will get 5 points.
-The winner each week will get a score of -5.
-Ties are dealt with by all involved in the tie getting the score of the rank for which you tied. i.e. 3 players tie for 4th, all 3 of them get 4 points. The next available rank is 6.
-If there is a tie for 1st, all involved in the tie will get 1 point. You must win the week outright in order to get the -5 score
-Lowest score at the end of the season is the Resident Genius.
-All discrepancies will be settled by me, and my decisions are final.
Now that the rules are out of the way...

Let's get down to business. The proceedings for this season get under way in Iowa City, where an Indiana team that might be halfway decent comes to town.
Q: How many yards of offense will the Indiana Hoosiers rack up v. Iowa?
Deadline is Saturday, September 4 at 2:30 PM CDT. Good hunting.
