TBH I never really loved the opening to The Sopranos.

I like the song (A3 - Woke Up This Morning) but I don't necessarily think it has a sense of "place" in any way commensurate with the opening to The Simpsons.

I could be mistaken, but as I recall, the rest of that theme song for The Sopranos, is awful. But you snip out a 30-second bit, and it's pretty good.
