Man....Star Wars just by a nose for me
-
To be honest, it wasn't even tough. I was just watching Rogue One again last night.
-
I think body of work it is fairly easy. But if I was flipping through the channels with nothing to watch and Raiders of the Lost Ark was on and so was any Star Wars movie, I would pick Raiders. Same would probably be true for The Last Crusade.

Agreed

I went and saw my first non kids movie in six years last night, Dunkirk, in the much ballyhooed 70mm format at an IMAX. They had a trailer for some Star Wars movie that is coming out this December. It reminded me how I needed to vote for Indiana Jones in this format, based on high peak alone.

Yes, but Temple of Doom and especially Kingdom of the Crystal Skull were not good.

Do the Ewok movies count? :72:

that would be tough. but more likely i'd never find the 2nd option (either star wars or indiana jones) as i'd never make it past either to keep looking. unless they were right beside each other on the guide.
star wars for me is #1. they will win this all if it's up to me.
but indiana jones could have been their competition in the title game had it been on the other side of bracket.

I love Raiders, but this one's easy for me. Star Wars is my all-time favorite.

Agreed, which is why I voted for for Star Wars. Episodes 1-3 are also "not good" to varying degrees. The only reason I ever watched any of those a second time was to introduce them all to my kids.
-
Yeah, my daughter wanted to have a Star Wars marathon and insisted on watching them chronologically, so we started with Phantom Menace. I'm simultaneously proud of her for wanting to have a Star Wars marathon, and troubled that I have to watch the prequels.
Watching with my kids is the only time I'll watch episodes 1-3, but thankfully we've finished those and Rogue One is up next.

Chronologically?
Good Lord, you'll screw her up for life.
Gotta show 'em to the next generation in the order of the release date.
And none of that "Special Edition" nonsense, either.
This is serious business here. The future of our planet depends on it.

I sort of agree, but only because the fight scenes from the original trilogy look terrible by comparison. You show a small child the prequels first, the originals look lame, and you've ruined those for them for life.

This is like Oklahoma-Nebraska.....both are "in" but it's not hard to pick the winner. Plus, if you think about it, it's Harrison Ford by himself basically vs Harrison Ford + the entire galaxy.
Star Wars
