The problem is that I haven't seen Logan yet. Everyone I've heard from said it was bleeping amazing. Just to be clear, we are talking about:

Is that correct? I'm leaning towards Avengers, but again, seeing Logan could sway that. Am I missing any Avengers movies? (The new Spider-Man movie?)

The X-Men are by far my favorite comic book characters of all time. I used to collect them in high school/college and early career days, and I have some that are actually worth a bit of money.
I've enjoyed the movies too, aside from a couple (X3, Wolverine origins).
But I have to say that, despite really not caring much for The Avengers comic books back in the day, I've enjoyed the movie franchise immensely. I eagerly await each new installment. So I'm surprising myself by picking the Avengers here.

Scratch the CA movies. It's basically the Marvel Universe without the Iron Man/Captain America trilogies. CA came in 9th in the composite ranking, which is why it's not here. IMO that's a damn shame, because those are my favorite MCU movies. I think Winter Soldier is easily the greatest comic book sequel movie ever made. Better even than Dark Knight.

Avengers. I'm with Utee in that I enjoyed xman as a kid much more than avengers, but overall, I think the avenger movies have been better than xman.

I consider Civil War to be more of an Avengers movie than a CA standalone. That might not be how they're "officially categorized" but I'm including it in my evaluation of the Avengers franchise.
Agree that Winter Soldier was great, and I probably liked the original CA more than most, as I enjoyed its period campiness.

I voted Avengers. But, if you drop Iron Man and Captain America from the franchise it makes the contest much much closer.
Guardians vs. Logan, both great movies.
Avengers vs. X-1 and X-2 pretty close again.
the difference being the X franchise has a couple of clunkers, and while the MCU may have parts that are not your cup of tea, it's hard to say any of them are bad.

I thought Ultron was pretty good. It wasn't as good as the first, but few sequels are.
My favorite of them all is probably Iron Man 1, simply because of how unexpectedly great it was. RDJr. just nailed that character.

I thought that whole scene where they were brooding on a farm was awful, and the final battle was lackluster by the admittedly high standards they've set.
I think the most pleasant surprise was Doctor Strange. I had no expectations for that one, but loved it.

Agree, I had no expectations for it (perhaps even LOW expectations for it) and I enjoyed it. GOTG was also unexpectedly good. I heard about it, and thought WTH? Then I saw the first trailer, and was totally in.
