Should probably at least consider Kevontae Martin-Manley.  While he was not the most talented wide receiver, he is Iowa’s all-time leader in receptions and played solely in this decade.  I would definitely consider him over McCarron. Tevaun Smith and ISM are both more gifted receivers than Martin-Manley, if people wanted to go on talent over career production.

Iowa Receivers in 2010s (except McNutt):
Martin-Manley   174-1799-12
Matt Vandeburg 134-1686-10
Tevaun Smith    102-1500-7
Keenan Davis    112-1470-7
Smith-Marsette   85-1270-10
Riley McCarron    50-584-5

I would not argue with someone for picking Tevaun Smith, and I am not saying it should be KMM.  I am just saying that KMM should have been considered, especially if McCarron is on the list.

Iowa throws the ball to people that aren't TEs?

It is an absolute joke that KMM was not an.option on this list.  There should be revote.

I can barely remember who Riley McCarren is or when he played.

He was never All-Big Ten, not even HM.  All of these guys were.  That's the standard.
Also, it's tied

That just tells me that it was ridiculous that he never made honorable mention All-Big Ten.  If that is the standard, then I can accept it as the reason he was left off.  In this particular case, I think the standard misses the mark for an all-decade team, as it values individual seasons over careers.  Not many cases where an individual who is a school’s career all-time leader in an offensive category cannot get into an all-decade vote.

I was wondering why a lot of Purdue players just seemed to show up on ELA's list and I never saw threads to vote... I'm guessing that not enough players from Purdue ever even got onto All-B1G lists at certain positions, even HM, to generate a vote.

It's difficult because you can have a player from a "weaker" school who may be one of the better players for his team that decade, but never reach HM, because there are at least 4 better players at the position that year. Even a position like Safety, where you have 2 on the field for each team, the top 8 players at the position can only [at max] comprise 8 teams. So even if a player should be one of the better players for his team that decade, if he's great at Indiana but not top 8 at his position in any year, he doesn't qualify.

At the same time you're trying to create an all-decade team for Ohio State who has 10+ players per every position on its list because their recruits were better than anyone else's all decade.

I know. For non-helmet teams, though, that still thins the field.

But I'm not complaining. Nobody cares about the all-decade team for non-helmets anyway.

KMMs best year was his sophomore year, when he was 14th in the Big Ten in receiving yards, and had 2 touchdowns.

He was 25th, 25th and 20th in his other three years.

I had to set some sort of criteria, and there are obvious holes.  But eh, this isn't the hill I'd die on.
