AA started slow, finished strong.   Tough vote.

So where are all of the Burkhead votes coming from?

Abdullah is 2nd behind Mike Rozier all-time among Nebraska running backs, with 4,588 yards, which is 1,200 more than Rex, and he did it on a higher ypc.

Among the top 12 rushers in Nebraska history, Burkhead's 5.2 ypc ranks only ahead of quarterback Taylor Martinez, and I'm guessing if you remove sacks, Burkhead is last.

Plus Abdullah's 73 career receptions is second all time among Nebraska running backs, behind only Marlon Lucky.

rex was a guy who won the hearts of fans and the media off the field as much as he did on the field.  He is a very popular ex-athlete.

I'm sorry, "Sexy Rexy" can only be one person in college football history, and it isn't Burkhead.

Kinda like the only "A-Train" recognize is Mike Alstott, not that guy up at Michigan that came years later.

It's gotta be Grossman.

There will be better running backs than Walter Payton, but there will only ever be one Sweetness. There will be (and have been) bigger DL than William Perry, but there will be only one Refrigerator.

There is no MSU contingent here to vote, but I suspect the same would happen in regards to Cousins vs. Cook
