... I saw a CWSooner, who I'm hoping is Civil War Sooner- and of course a few of you who've already posted a bit in the B10 board... the 12 board was quite a joint (along with the B10 and SEC, both with their own personalities)... i'd love to see it scrape up some sparks and start shootin the breeze on the porch...

Depends-- do you weirdly blame The University of Texas for the fact that the B1G decided to poach teams and caused all of the problems of the 2010 and 2011 realignments?

He posts occasionally on the shag, and we traded texts just yesterday since he was asking about our plans for the tailgate party.
Sadly, it's done. The state of Texas is building a lot of new parking garages where all the surface lots used to be, so the tailgating space in state lots will be about 25% of what it was previously. All of the tailgating groups with annual reserved spaces had to enter a lottery for the few spots remaining, and we didn't win.
We were thinking about killing it anyway, but this pretty much put the nail in the coffin.

Yup, we had a good run. It would have been nice to have raised $100K, we've topped at about $95,000 over the years.

I can't even imagine what a sh*t show that first tailgate Saturday is going to be. Tons of people will have no idea changes were made. Longtime tailgates are gone, or moved. And the overall capacity is down by 75%. Gonna be crazy down there.
I'll most likely be on the lake.
