Title: Project Boredom: Indiana Class of 2016
Post by: MaximumSam on July 31, 2020, 08:32:05 AM
1. Brandon Peters, 4 star QB (61) - Michigan: Once the heir apparent for the Wolverines - he came in relief of the magical John O'Korn in 2017 and became the starter, but a conbcussion derailed his season and then Shea Patterson came in the next year.  After barely playing in 2018 he tranferred to Illinois, where he led the Illini to a bowl game and returns as a starter this year.

2. Austin Mack, 4 star WR (72) - OSU: While highly recruited and highly respected at OSU, it never quite came all together for Mack at OSU.  He battled injuries and a very crowded wide receiver room and never finished higher than fifth in receptions on the team.  While he wasn't a bust, he never quite turned into the star fans were hoping.  He went undrafted and signed with the Giants this year.

3. Auston Robertson, 4 star DE (103) - MSU: Whoa boy.  Suffice to say, MSU probably wishes they had skipped this one.  He played in seven games for Sparty, but he was eventually kicked off the team for sexual assault, and is currently serving a prison sentence in Michigan and becomes eligible for parole in November of 2021.  His history of sexual assault, and what Mark Dantonio knew about it, has been part of investigations and lawsuits which I think are still pending.

4. Chris Evans, 4 star RB (338) - Michigan: Sort of a bridesmaid theme for Evans.  He played a healthy amount his first three years, finishing second on the team in rushing in 2016-18.  2019 was to be his year, but he was suspended for the entire season due to academics.  He's back on the team this year, though also back in a crowded running back room with Zach Charbonnet and Hassan Haskins.

5. Coy Cronk, 3 star OT (393) - Indiana: Pretty solid career so far.  Started 40 games for the Hoosiers before suffering a season ending injury last year.  With his degree in hand and an unexpected extra year to play, he decided to transfer to Iowa, where he is expected to start this year.

6. Noah Burks, 3 star OLB (470) - Wisconsin: Another solid player - Burks started for the Badgers last year as their fourth linebacker and picked up 36 tackles as well as a pick six.  He's scheduled to start this year and be a big part of the defense.

7. Kiante Enis, 3 star RB (566) - Indiana: Must be something in the water in Indiana that year.  Enis ended up  having sex with a 13 year old before his freshman year started, resulting in criminal charges and being kicked off the team.  A former Michigan commit, he was a distant relative to PSU star Curtis Enis.
