2017 was probably the best CFP we've gotten, so I'll go there.

  • the Oklahoma-Texas Tech game set the NCAA record for most yards in a game, and Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes broke the single player yardage record
  • Pitt beat Syracuse 76-61, to set the record for most points in a non-OT game
These make me not want to choose 2016.

I'd think a lot of people would like 2016, if for no other reason than we all got a "down goes Bama" moment. 
Like Ivan Drago getting a cut over his eye.  Bama's not a machine!  


Of course they go on to with the NC the next year, so...
