I went with Scream. I liked Halloween but never got all that excited about it.

It certainly feels blasphemous, but IMO Scream is really underrated as both a decent horror film, and a clever parody about horror movies, and film in general.
As I said in the 1st round, it's the rare parody done so well, that it inspired a much lower brow parody of the parody.
Both sort of triggered a renewed interest in the genre, and it's a shame they meet here, as I think they are the top two in the genre.
Halloween is great, Halloween 2 is pretty good, 3 (the one without Mike Myers) is underrated. The rest are absolute garbage though. Except the Rob Zombie reboots, those are ok.
I find all of the Screams very rewatchable.

The musical score alone for Halloween gets the vote from me.
